For me you can't beat STALKER. I have tried pretty much every game out there but have found none that put me where this game does. I start playing and get lost in a world that can be both beautiful and terrifying. I remember my first visit to the Yantar lab in SHOC. It was in the early hours of the morning, I was using headphones while sneaking around the lab. The atmosphere had me on the edge of my seat. Ten seconds later something totally unexpected happened and put my heart in my mouth. I paused the game, shaking like a little child and from that moment on for me it has been the stick by which all games are measured. And sadly they just don't measure up. STALKER is a thousand games in one. Set in a constantly changing, evolving world. The only time any two playthroughs are the same is when you hit that ENTER THE ZONE button at the start of the game.

Yes you can add the AF3 for SGM 2.2 version to it. Even though it says for SGM 2.2 it will work fine.

I am getting a stubborn crash in the swamp while trying to munt the first group of bandits, as soon as I hoof a nade it crashes.
The log has a grumble about not finding some textures, I am not sure if this is the problem, I don't know which part of the log to post but the textures it says are missing are;

It's not due to these, but use this fix for those.

Scroll to the very bottom of the log and there should be a fatal error section. Whether there is or isn't post the final 8 or so lines for me to see

Hey thanks heaps for the fix!
I 'seem' to have got around that by not hurling nades in that spot.
Sounds weird, but I have just played a couple of hours crash free, so the digital gods can be fickle!
