DaveTheFreak Introducing myself blog

Hi,

my name is David"DaveTheFreak"Scholze, I'm from Germany. What I'm doing now, is working on my modification for Doom 3, called Desolated: The Crying Fate. My hobbies: mapping, 3d-modeling, skateboarding, freerunning (also parkour and tricking) and the philosophies. Most of my day I'm sitting just in front of my computer, working on my project. But if the weather's fine, I go out and do some sport. But it's actually winter, so I got more time for working on Desolated. Now I'm 18 years old, I started with mapping and things since the age of 11, first tried to create games in Word or Excel, but that didn't worked very well. So I bought Morrowind and this was my start, then I came up with Dungeon Siege, WarCraft 3 and finally Doom 3 was crossing my way. And with this game I released my fist modification, Hell island. Now, after Desolated is finished, I'm gonna work with the Unreal Engine 3. 'Cause of that, I don't have much time for school, but I think, everyone's gotta make a decision in his life, what's important to him. And I just did...
For the moment I'm cutting the Desolated-Trailer, it's gonna come out at the end of this week. So, that was all for my first blog news item.
