Factum Solus

Mod review

While this mod suffers from a few unfortunate physics glitches, they aren't enough to stop it being a must-have mod for any self-respecting Portal fan.

Portal Pro

Mod review

Despite it's flaws, still the most entertaining Portal mod I've played so far!

Many others have focussed on absolute pinpoint accuracy in execution of advanced flings, jumps and mid-air portalling, but it's refreshing that Portal Pro is instead based mainly on working out HOW to do something rather than complex execution, the same reason I loved the original game.

Summary:
- Ending was anticlimactic.
- Routes to most hidden cakes are virtually impossible to find without a walkthrough.
- Bonus maps are not much fun.
+ Professional quality. Only one bug I came across (no cube dropped near the end, so I had to spawn one manually via the dev console).
+ Test chambers are fun and well thought-out..
+ More puzzle-based than other mods.
