Video and Visual Effects Producer/ Music Producer
Found this still on my channel unlisted:
Hey man. I just logged into ModDB for the first time in years and saw this. Good to see you're still active. I'm a /huge/ rhythm game fan, so it's cool to see you working on one. Good luck!
Wow, I completely forgot about this mod! It's Pivot, I used to do your videos for the beta tests. I don't think I've logged into ModDB in over 3 or 4 years, but I saw an update for this on the ModDB twitter and thought I'd log in to say hello. :)
This looks insane! Is there possible consideration for Oculus Rift support in the future? Unity has native rift support so if you guys get a development kid I don't see any reason why not too. It seems like the perfect fit.
*clap clap clap* Absolutely phenomenal. I can tell this will be one of the greatest mods ever. Seriously.
Why change the smg sound? It was fine before, the new one is horribly low quality.
Hah! Can't wait to hear it. Glad to hear my voice lines it it too. :P
Actually nevermind I forgot about my ModDB profile. It's probably obvious by now though.
Mother of god, you've done what I thought was the impossible.
You actually got in-game per-object motion blur?
Haha this is really awesome actually.
This is beautiful!
*Steam messages* I lol'd
Wow, this is very impressive. Great job.
I'm gonna be honest, most of these pictures look fairly neutral in color. Are you planning to add some more color correction for the final release? I think it could use more color and visual interest.
I've actually seen one giant pool that was completely surrounded by flat walls on all four sides one time, it was probably big enough to be considered a small lake.
"Ooh, an update. Yes, it has *clicks* been a whi-WHOAAAA"
He keeps removing Herobrine because no matter how many times Notch removes him, he always manages to find his way back in.
I love the underground ravines. One time I was flying out into the middle of the ocean for a really long time and found one of these at the bottom. It was smack in the middle of nowhere, and had multiple waterfalls on the inside with a few areas that were dry.
Pinkie likes InMomentum? Sweet.
Wow, beautiful writing. This is great, I really enjoyed reading it.
Wow, I'm really impressed so far! I'm much more excited for the mod now, awesome job guys.
Ooh, looks like a laser tag arena.
I guess I'll be the first one to say something with at least a little bit of meaning. I really love the music, it really gives a lot of mood and feeling into the level. The Ferris Wheel is a nice unique idea, again I really like this. When the player falls, that could be a little smoother, it's sort of sudden and the animation is jerky. Also, when you see the other person, the music is too sudden and doesn't fit with the situation. Oh, and I like the sound of the zombie.
I honestly think it'd look better if it was completely solid black, well, aside from the eyes obviously. When 1.8 is released I'll try comparing the default and solid black and see what I like better, because I'm still not sure.
Hah, that's awesome. :P
Editing my comment: That's basically going after the fact that Notch said it'll be released once the address the feedback they get from Pax. That doesn't confirm any release date, of course it's coming out after PAX.
This is looking very promising! Amazing job!
MUCH better. Very good job guys.
Seems some people who follow Minecraft are out of the loop on what Notch has been doing lately. I love this game, got a good bit through and then died. For some reason it's cut off the right a little bit though.
Oh dear god... I had a heart attack when I saw the name. Glad to see you're not letting this die though.
Jolly good ol' chap.
This is possible the coolest menu I've ever seen in a source mod... oh wait, it is. (I know it's a concept, but if it turns out like this than my statement will be true).
Fraps watermark? Sigh... should have gotten your good ol' video producer here to do this. :p
When did they say that?
Lol, the description says "polyguns"
It was just a tweet so far wasn't it?
Amazing stuff as always! I'm glad to have the opportunity to work with the team.
Both these soundtracks are absolutely amazing! I can't believe how awesome the music is.
You seem to have an idea for a very original mod. I'm now much more excited to see what will come out of this.
To answer your question:
It all depends on what's going on in my actual reality. Video games can be nice to remove yourself from reality, but only temporarily. Maybe if I'm having some trouble in life, I can always escape momentarily in a different world, even though its existence is fictional.
Wow, you guys have an amazing composer. This sounds great, I love it!
Great work team! :D
Great! I'm very excited! :D
The mapping for this mod is amazing. It's right up there with Black Mesa. Great job!
This is amazing! I loved episode one and I can't wait for this! :D
I've been talking with Holymac and I'm rejoining. If you can send me nz_facility I can make it much better.
You're still using nz_facility as the main example of your mod? X_X You know, I may just re-join. I'm so much better at mapping now. I could probably add on to that map and improve it. Add some more areas. I have a few good ideas actually.
Yeah I prefer the first ones as well.
Trust me, you don't want to know who "They" are...
I think that would be a bad idea even if I could figure out a way, because it could actually give people seizures. We do have some nice effects in certain maps though. There will be plenty of other nice laser sounds, and I'm actually thinking of changing the laser pistol sound. (It will still sound pretty similar but less annoying. It gets really old.
It's supposed to have a lot of contrast.
Yeah I got a better rig now.
Remember I said they're still WIP.
"Final Version" Lol, that would be win.
Yeah, they're kinda stiff, needs a little work, still cool though.
Amazing as always.
Awesome. I'll be there also.
Already been done... Golden Eye: Source. :P
Not exactly. I think lasers look cool. :P I mean, this is free, and you're shooting people with cool looking lasers with techno music in the bg, fog all over, and cool flashing neon lights.
I just build a computer for about $500. It can play all my games on highest resolution (16:9) on highest settings. GRID, Mirror's Edge, Ect. Crysis... about 30 fps on 800x600 on very high. :P
Sorry, but it's not official. It's a place-holder from fpsbanana. Our modeler is working on some weapons now. We should have some pictures of the first weapon by this week possibly.
Yep! The mapper position is still open. Can I see some of your work?
What are you talking about? This map is light enough to where you don't even need a flashlight, the screenshot doesn't even show the skybox, and there's some good brushwork too.
I liked the first one better actually.
That's not rally a good idea because it's a multiplayer survival map.
