wish I could climb and live up there.
STILL trying to figure out the whole distant LOD thing...
LOL gian... this really is one of the most realistc shots ive ever seen using oblivions engine. the grass at the edge makes it SO detailed. and it doesnt look put there it looks natural. amazing amazing work guys. PLEASE let me join!
you guys are amazing, WHY AM I NOT A PART OF YOUR TEAM?
this looks so good. your textures are a little too bright and un-weathered though.
too many repeated textures. i like it though. Add some rocks in for effect, maybe a chunk taken out of the stairs also.
I will be changing the look of Rohan to a less grassy area. It will be more arid. Mainly because anytime I tried traveling through it Oblivion would crash. I figure because there were SO many objects being loaded at once.
The river Anduin leads to the Argonath which leads to a waterfall (Falls of Rauros) that Boromir's body went over.
Not quite THE bridge but its just A bridge testing lighting and what not.
yeah i hear you.
I haven't touched it in a couple weeks now.
I'll work on it nightly for a week then i take a couple off...
If i had more time it'd be done already.
See I'm just being lame and using some pillars from Oblivion for the great hall.
I want to see some size comparisons.
Character/pillars.
Once again your model work is outstanding.
I don't know how you do it.
Did you take classes or is it self taught.
That looks pretty good but, too many repeating textures...
if you have firefox, click the "view image" button when right clicking...
Amazing shot if I do say so myself.
Yes I am working on it all by myself. It is very difficult to get anything going. I'm trying to get another modder on here to combine forces. His name is TheGreyWizard. His model work is very good and way beyond anything I can create at this point.
Thanks for the support and I will post more images this weekend!
Dude.. this is some amazing 3d model work. I'm working on the SAME mod cept I'm kind of skipping around and just trying to make beautiful lanscapes. Not too many actual objects in the world right now but at least theres a MASSIVE landmass. WE need to trade pics and discuss teaming up...seriously.
Hi my name is Daniel.
I'm working on a Middle Earth Mod for Oblivion and am wondering how you got you distant land to show up in the game.
I've tried just about everything and can't get it to work.
It's very frustrating and makes it very hard to tell what I need to change when I'm testing in the game.
If you can help me out that would be excellent and I would appreciate it alot.
Thanks.
PS. Heres a quick preview of what I've done so far.

Currently building MiddleEarth... by myself. For being an on/off modder, I'm doing ok, but at at this rate I'll be 50 when I'm done.
