Originally joined Moddb Jan 31, 2006.
I code and try to model every now and then.
I'm late to this, but "I mean, why even have Moddb anymore, all the mods worth playing are going Indie. Screwing the PC gaming scene over." made my day, laughed like hell.
"First release what you were doing, then make a game. That how modding works."
People mod because they wanna utilize the engine but can't pay for a license to go independent, these guys got a license and can do that.
Theres no golden modding rule that you can't "convert" a mod to an indie, the only things that's changed is that they can distribute it commercially now.
They got a lucky break, get over it!
I never saw any "We promise to never ever go commercial" statement, so what are you on about? A really polished project getting a license must be like a dream come true to them.
Your words make you sound like someone jealous, I bet you are too.
Seems interesting, Henri is a damn good artist too, I'm glad to be able to work with him.
This seems a bit innovative, good luck. :)
Deadlock is also the name for a "Making History" mod. X)
Hilarious miss by Phillip there! :P
HAHA, so darn cheesy! :D
That map is so awesome looking :P
Great work getting the source part out of the title.
Well that confirms that this will be a very gritty and disturbing mod, can't wait! :)
Very interesting insight into such a huge project.
The water's indeed gorgeous!
Love the enviroment.
Wow, so much details.
That is some sick stuff.
I love how detailed your areas are, stuff everywhere. :)
Wow, nice textures!
Damn nice, and that face also makes me lol.
Use the WON-keycode on steam and you get the steam version.
Stop playing in daylight.
lolwut, SWEDISH man, S-W-E-D-I-S-H! xD
Yeah, just added the 10000 zombies mauled achievement. Don't worry.
True, it was boring and the ?perks? system and that stuff was way too uncomfy to use.
Umm, yeah you pretty much summed up what I were going to type.
The variation is this mods strongest point, every chapter presents new elements to you (some that I've never seen before in a mod, perhaps even in a game?) while still keeping the overall feeling intact.
Damn fine mod, it made my evening really enjoyable, props to you guys!
Also he never returned the main func :P
I do believe what you read there is the truth...
It's my birthday tomorrow (17th), I demand an epic DAFATCAT shirt!
Then I'll play ls_highrise.
Ah yes, been looking forward to this.
He wondered what BÄST means. :)
That's awesome, and what a progress too!
It means "best".
Editing eh? ;)
Event canceled, oh well.
Stop trying to steal the breakpoint! :'(
Teach me how to unread.
As an avid fan of the Cthulhu Mythos, I am interested in the coding part, but you already knew this ofc :D
Yeah, this looks amazing.
It was resolved seconds later, I just took a screenie because it looked funny.
Awesome forest is awesome, keep up the great mapping! :D
Which is neat. :)
I'd guess it's a map with a moving camera and a VGUI menu.
Oh come on, every mod has potential.
This looks like some good stuff! :)
Yes, the fog does have the feel of the one in SH2. :)
Looks more dark and gritty.
Interesting indeed! :)
Really cool concept for variation, it's weird that it haven't been looked at like this before. This mod just became more interesting.
Wow, really hope this turns out good! Hitman is a since long favorite.
You've got to take in account that the HL2 episodes are single-player and therefore have a shorter life-length than a multi-player game such as L4D
