It should be considered at least, using the native animations for the spears/lances. The new ones looks ugly as hell, where as the vanilla for the spears were actually fairly realistic. Not like the new mounted spear "stab" that looks like you're jerking someone off.

Yes but the ones they've included in this mod looks fugly. I am missing the vanilla bastard sword.

If you absolutely must have the elephant hit the "C" (camp) select mod options, scroll to the bottom, enable cheat. Then go back, enter cheat menu and "find an item" in there somewhere is the elephant. You will have to have enough money to buy it though, like 35k. I too, had to stomp some plebs.

Actual reapers? You referring to Harbinger and those of his size? The smaller ones were just as much reapers. The small scout class vessels were as much a reaper as Sovereign.

So in native and many other mods there are this cool sword; a bastard sword. Was wondering why it has been taken out in this mod? There are stat-wise similar items in the mod, but the actual item has been removed. I would request it be put back into the game as it looks great and has the ability to be used as either one- or two-handed.

I also have this problem. Alternately you can press Q to get away from the blank page. I found that Q opens faster than Esc.

SOSE is pretty ******* simple. Basic resource-gathering. Simple research system. Simple unit building. Simple upgrading of planets. Not sure which part of this game would be complicated?
"huge learning curve"... Ever tried things like EVE or X3? Now, that's a steep learning curve.

At what time of day do you plan on releasing the mod for open alpha testing? and as for the date itself is it the 24th as stated here or the 25th as stated everywhere else?
