My name is Peter and I'm Brazilian. Basically, I try to survive each year by being as sympathetic and insightful as I can. I'm a huge fan of Star Wars, LotR, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, history and a bit of math, besides literature, Football and geography. I also mod Neverwinter Nights 1 and am currently working on the ToaFR saga, besides a few side projects.
In my relatively short life, I've found only a handful of games so hard to review. The reason? It's hard to decide if it's good or bad. In one hand, FoC introduces a fairly creative concept into the awesome Empire At War: being the galaxy's most powerful crime lord. On the other, some design decisions such as the "Corruption System" and the new faction's (Zann Consortium) story-driven campaign are, well, awful.
HOWEVER, I will give this a seven out of ten for a single reason: the many, many incredible mods out there created or FoC. So if you do buy this, do a favor for yourself and go mod-hunting.
Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic 2 lacks ingenuity and strong narrative of it's predecessor, but it still provides many good hours of fun, with well-created characters and the eternal question that any Star Wars RPG makes to you: Will you join the Light Side? Or fall to the Dark Side?
I also recommend you to download and install the "The Sith Lords Restoration Project" mod, which creates an even better experience. Shame I can't review that, or this game would have a perfect 10.
