My name is Peter and I'm Brazilian. Basically, I try to survive each year by being as sympathetic and insightful as I can. I'm a huge fan of Star Wars, LotR, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, history and a bit of math, besides literature, Football and geography. I also mod Neverwinter Nights 1 and am currently working on the ToaFR saga, besides a few side projects.

Nowadays we have to pay for the game AND the rest of the experience. It's called Corporate DLC. Mass Effect 2 & 3 have a lot of those

I think it might be less a matter of not wanting to compete with Skyrim and more about making games for the general public. After all, even Skyrim itself had so simplify some of the systems in older TES games so more players could enjoy it.

Seems good, though you might want to throw in some extra reward for the harder ones to get.

I didn't cry trolololz. Seriously, though. Mass Effect 3's tone was a sad one, but also one of hope and people fighting back, or at least so it was until that depressing ending. BioWare did achieve something greater than just making us care about our companions: we started caring about the Galaxy. Shame they had to ruin it in the last 2% of the game.

I think the above idea would really be more lore-friendly than anything else. After all, I don't remember seeing people in Middle-Earth shouting something and burning everything around him in the process.

Hey there, I loved your mod "Darkness Enthralled", but maybe you should put it for download over here in Moddb as well - that tends to make more people 'round these parts download it.
