Very nice shot, dave! :D Is that church inhabited or abandoned?
The first time I visited it (while having a wander round) it was empty, this time I went there to meet Guide. A strangely evocative place.
Yea, orthodox churches tend to be really beautiful. That's probably why they are the most beautiful buildings you can find in the Zone!
I think that church would be a perfect place for such mystical character as Khan from Metro.
And yep, they are beautiful indeed.
You know the church in the Great Swamps? Man, this one is even more evocative, as it is located in the middle of a swamp. Also it contains this...eerie graveyard. Wouldn't like to wander around there at night, but then again, walking around in the swamps in the dark is unbelievable stupid.
