I am known as Cylarne on Relicnews and many other places, but here on MOD DB, and Skype I am known as Lord Doofus, my preferred name as it is easy to change................ I am a developer for the Dawn of War game, and my mod is the Ultimate Apocalypse mod. I did A LOT with it. I am a coder, map maker, mod tester, AI developer, hex n' tex maker, FX maker, makes 2D images, voice act for units, make (poor quality) videos, scar code, create campaigns (with non lore related), GUI developer (expert at that), and finally I can make the "impossible" possible with super passionative thinking and enjoyment of developing games.

Youtube Channel And Mod

Since my very first video went live (March 22nd, 2015), I have received a rapid increase of subscribers from 15 up to a mind boggling 51. 150-200 views in, it was astonishing. I thought to myself beforehand that my channel would not hit big because I was too late starting a channel and people are already making great videos with 1,000,000 subs and etcetera, well I KIND OF was too late... but let's just say that I'm glad I started it asap than say now or later. In a month's due time, 100 subscribers was hit and I was extremely impressed by my "semi average" accomplishments. And at that point I really started to care about youtube and started loving it to death. Example:


In a year due time, I now hit 2250 subscribers, and I really can't thank everyone enough for sticking with me and my channel for so long. There is actually people willing to sub to my videos and I'm proud to be of service!

You can check the answer there as it answers lots of questions. As for donations, we can't collect donations, atm (well we CAN, but there is no way to post a donate button without editing source code, via Amazon).

Hey there buddy. Just wanted to ask you if you could add a little extra decal feature for Eldar vehicles and platforms. How about giving them a lightning decal addition as a Trim 2? Please pal? Can you do it? Will ya? Huh?

@cybrswami6: I'm not entirely sure if this will kill the balance, haha. If titans are to be shooting things across the map like an artillery range of a basilisk, it would be probably nicer to few, but if you are going up against it, it would feel like taking on another type of Manta.

I mean I don't mind the cool and epic feel of epic ranges and etc, but as is now, without upping the cost and making melee titans more of a better use against other titans, it will kill the balance.

I think 70m is already enough to strike against 95% of the targets in the game already.

Though if this were to be an Imperator for example, YEAH, you can expect an Imperator to get that type of range and greater! Reaver? Too much. It already has that range though with its Apocalypse Missile Launcher. You just have to aim it directly at targets, though.

Also the sight radius thing, a Reaver is not a scout titan. It is slower than a Warhound and cannot see as far. If you want a maneuverable variant, then the Warhound fits that purpose as it is a scout titan.

didn't want to post this in the open thread on the UA page. I have been playing with some ranges and things for artillery. balancing artillery against the IG basilisk as in 1.73.9UA.

the thing i notice is the sight radius for titans seems too short. it "feels" as though the titans sight radius should be closer to that of a flyer, given the flyer is up high and hence sees more so to a titan is up above the battlefield and should see further.

also I was wondering if the range on some of the titan weapons should increase to closer to the basilisk range. this makes the titan more of an artillery piece which is good, but it also means that assaulting one is harder as it gets to pummel anything coming towards it long before they can shoot back,i.e., lascannon range 70 titan range upped from 100 to 150-180 gives it time. it also forces you to use deepstriking transporting and other tactics to get under the artillery and titan ranges to attack them.

I would be interested in your thoughts?

I agree with you there and it would be interest to see what Cylarne has to say about this because I think it will make fighting Titans a much more fun and tactical experience because atm all I've seen people do to counter my Titans is pummel them with an entire army :/

I LOVE the new concept that you have for the Elite units.

Starting with 2 Grey Knight Terminators, that should be enough to defeat several squads of lesser Daemons.

So, are Chaos Obliterators, Mutilatlators, and Wraithguard squad reinforcement starting numbers reduced to 1 and a maximum of 3 or 2?
