I am known as Cylarne on Relicnews and many other places, but here on MOD DB, and Skype I am known as Lord Doofus, my preferred name as it is easy to change................ I am a developer for the Dawn of War game, and my mod is the Ultimate Apocalypse mod. I did A LOT with it. I am a coder, map maker, mod tester, AI developer, hex n' tex maker, FX maker, makes 2D images, voice act for units, make (poor quality) videos, scar code, create campaigns (with non lore related), GUI developer (expert at that), and finally I can make the "impossible" possible with super passionative thinking and enjoyment of developing games.
Looks like I got the basis of recognizing file paths down. :3
No comments? Ah who needs ya. :p It only took me 19 hours to make this work...
So a free time activity or something for the University?
I am currently working on the code to detect "pressed" buttons in a capacitive platform, trying to distinguish several kinds of movements in order to associate them to different commands.
Err... English please.
"University" stuff.
(Grabs his translating glasses)
Ok have you ever heard of touch screens? Most of them use capacitive sensors to detect the touch of the user. Pretty much what i am working is something like that but with 81 "buttons" (each button is just an area printed on a board that is why i write "buttons" as they are not physically buttons). These buttons are conected to a small programmable integrated circuit from Texas Instruments, which we are coding at the university to make the detection of the movements possible.
It could be used to detect movements like left to right which could be linked to some action in real life, like a system that closed the curtains when said movement was made on the capacitive platform.
Was this any better?
hmm.. very interesting.
Hell yes!
Very, very good work, you might make a fortune! ;)
What's about the last field?
You haven't explored it, so it could be a maze without an exit...
