The game people need to buy to play is Warhead, but yes it effectively the Wars Edition.

Also if you read our linked news post, you will see we are aiming to have a public beta out by the Summer.

Its a demanding schedule but achievable right now...
Especially if we get some good responses to our Jobs adverts!

After investing so much time in the mod, we would like to see people mapping for it. Initially the assets used in Obsidian Edge for Crysis will ONLY be available to map for Obsidian Edge. This period of exclusivity will last for a period of 12 months from release, after which individual models can only be used on other tasks with the explicit permission of the original artist.

Sorry if thats not the full release you were hoping for but we hope you can understand.

Hey guys, sorry for the long delay in updates here.
We are waiting for the C++ SDK for Warhead to be released, we will then evaluate it before deciding if it is on any value to us to port or make a joint release.

In the mean time, we are actually Alpha testing right now, see our home page for details of how you can help us in the future

Obsidian Edge 2 is one of the mods selected by Crytek to receive the Crysis Pre-SDK and to receive support from Crytek during development.

Actually D@rson, those are just regular renders... wait until we start releasing our CryEngine2 renders... ;)

Yup, we were later than usual getting it on here this time, it fell down a crack between Soroc and I ;)

Next one will be as close to synchronised as we can...
