I typically engage with some niche things I find critical that people don't care for. And after a bunch of work I end up with something subtle. And people just see it as okay and wonder what's the point.
20 years later Tenebrae may not be the best looking Quake source port but sure as hell remains the most stylish. Hard shadows and wet glossy stone naturaly...

I ripped all the textures so you don't have to. 2400 textures in DDS format.
This was made from and for HL2: Update but should also work for original game. Update: new version not modifying .vmt files but changing detail textures...
