That error: Not enought textures for shader, base tex: prop\prop_barbwire3 is caused by installing R2 version and loading a map on R1
indicates clearly that game has been launched in R1
I guess it accidentally switched to R1. xRay ;)
Because I'm too tired to answer this for a 100 time AGAIN I'm gonna post a screenshot from the installer this time
Install no ENB 2.1 version and you'll have the same shaders, colors and atmosphere as in 2.04 (slightly polished though)
I've already replied in the download thread but my answer got lost somehow :P
Anyway, these fixes are buried somewhere in ZRP that AA2.1 is fully built on. Unfortunately I can't point you to where it is. We simply didn't fix it ourselves just used already fixed ZRP.
Dunno why you dislike 2.1 but in terms of gameplay balance nothing much changed apart of adding blowouts (easy to disable or postpone indefinitely) and some items removed from beginning levels.
I don't even have a monitor with such resolution so I can't check :P
On my 2 x GTX660Ti the game has about 60fps in 1680x1050
I guess the extended geometry of the levels and the fact that xRay is 7 years old engine with poor optimisation may be the factors here. Also increased FOV or increased grass distance have the big impact on the performance.
SoC engine have no native detector support like CoP. The dectors will never work like there. We did what we could.
Still, Veles is better than the others because it detects all the artifacts and shows their exact position on the map.
Don't panic, 1.3004 hasn't been released yet :)
I don't quite understand. If you mean the voices for the storyline in english and the greetings in russian then that would require hand picking the sound files from characters_voice folder. Unfortunately I can't give you the full list, but you can go through the files yourself and remove the unwanted ones.
You can't, the weather is totally random.
I'm far from bragging but I think ours are sufficient. They have the overall late autumn feel and has been carefully selected edited and re-created to keep that. PRZ2 would break this as they are in different hues than ours.
Why won't you see for yourself? :P
Yes, that feature has been removed in 2.1
AF3 is fully localised. Options should be in the same language as your game.
I've actually added the detector system from AA2 to LA some time ago (sometime around patch 1.3001) just to test if it's possible. I took me like 2h maybe and it was working quite all right. There were some issues but they would be probably solveable.
There is one problem though. AA2 detector system is based on third party elements. We simply can't use it because of the copyright reasons.
We'd have to implement our own detector system, probably cut out from CoP but as Cossack-HD said it would need a lot of time to do and even more for testing.
Yup, providing you have Windows 7 installed on your Mac :)
It has nothing to do with logic. That's how it works in vanilla and we haven't changed that.
Ignore them. They're just some debug info left from development process.
Actually I had invisible bed in the bar in one of my playthroughs :)
This is not the texture problem but geometry problem. You can try to copy levels/l12_stancia folder from 2.04 to 2.1 but I don't think it gonna change anything as the files are the same.
We haven't changed anything, I mean anything in level geometry or textures since 2.0 so I really have no idea why it happens.
Ye, it happened to one guy before. Your PC can't cope with extended mod geometry on this level or it may be a driver issue. Try to lower object quality/vision distance in options to relieve your GPU
What texture? Screenshots please
Patch 1.3003 installed?
Clearly, a log from Lost Alpha. Why did you post it here? This Autumn Aurora 2 thread.
Yes, you need to copy scripts, edit them to fit the suit names from LA so the appropriate masks would be displayed and then add those 2 lines to function stalker_binder:update
You must add appropriate scripts (snd_breath, hud)a nd then the lines to the bind_stalker.script
This feature has been removed as it caused too many problems.
Easy but it has consequences. Add this to SEVA section [scientific_outfit] in outfit.ltx
additional-inventory-weight = 20
additional-inventory-weight2 = 20
(replace - with _ because I couldn't post it properly here)
Unfortunately you'll need to block the sprint possibility.
sprint_allowed = false
Otherwise stamina will be drained very quickly when running overweighted. It's an engine limitation.
You have to load a save from before they become hostile. No other way. Sorry.
Did we, V.?
