Well, it wasn't really long exposure. I've just taken a couple of screenshots and masked the lightnings in photoshop.

IMO he meant that you used the font that imitates russian alphabet. It is quite hard to read to someone (like me) who can read russian :)
Anyway, I haven't checked this mod for a long time and I'm impressed what you've done here.

Of course not. There won't be a choice NOT to install it :)
As for the date unfortunately not. I hope to finish this summer but it depends on my work commitments.

The installer will be in english, sorry. But this time it will be very simple without any options apart of choosing the texture quality. Ingame messages and options will be fully translated to russian.

Some of them, yes. Like all blowout textures for instance. All of the textures have been re-rendered to match the correct sun position. The night textures has been improved as well. Although in nightvision they still show some compression artifacts. But there is nothing I can do about texture compression.

The last one I've made was 1.3. AF2 in this mod is probably adaptation of 2.1 for CoP. It is easy to copy the configs and textures. Unfortunately all the textures would be squashed as the skybox in CS is half height of that in CoP

It is probably possible, but I won't amend the AI behaviour. The slight change with NPCs trying to hide was quite easy to make but making the NPCs/monsters vision distance based on the light is complicated. AtmosFear is the weather mod not the AI mod after all.

AtmosFear 2 for SoC has been done already. It is a part of the upcoming Lost Alpha mod. AF2 for SoC will be released as standalone mod after the release of LA. AF3 for CS? Maybe :)

Changing textures during the game is not possible I'm afraid. The level textures once loaded can't be changed dynamically.

Yeah, I remember rockets in Limansk in CS. They have light source attached. Those in CoP don't. I need to investigate how to spawn light sources.

Post effector on hit has been added already. Actually I've added 2 of them. One for electro damage in close range and the other for psi damage. The intensity of them depends on the distance from the vortex.

I'll think about this secondary particle effect but I think it should appear only around the actor. Very big particle emitters require a big amount of particles to be noticed. And this causes slowdowns.

AF 2.1 works but some merging needs to be done. Try to search english GSC forums. I remember seeing a patch or instructions how to merge them there.
Absolute Textures packs work with any mod (or 99% of them)

The surrounding of the Chernobyl plant is relatively flat. There are some hills but no mountains like in Complete.

AF3 will have the proper sun position and day/night length according to the astronomical data for 15 Sep in Ukraine. The sunrise is about 6am and the sunset at 8pm. That give you the longer nights

The damage lowers gradually with the distance. Max distance that vortexes hit the player is 200m but the real danger is in about 50m radius (depends on difficulty level - here I'm talking about 'stalker' level). They appear with slowly rotating dust and there is about 20 sec before they discharge so there is a plenty of time to run in opposite direction to limit the damage.

I'm pretty happy with the sound as it is some kind electro/psi anomaly. It generates psi and electro impulses.

Which fragment are you talking about? The only real gameplay without the increased brightness is at 1:40. The rest are brightened for presentation purposes (as it says in the corner). And it also depends on your monitor settings/parameters. You could always balance it with the options sliders to your liking
