Yes, just use the 1.0004 option. It's not the one from AA2 though. You need original FOV switcher ( Gamewatcher.com ).
Not all the buildings provide cover. Check PDA map for possible shelters.
Mostly GPU due to extended level foliage geometry (more highly detailed trees/bushes + distant grass).
That's for foliage. For stalker/weapon models or weather/skies you'd need to have some modding experience to merge their configs/scripts.
That's not a bug. Hide from the emission underground.
You've answered yourself: just use textures, foliage and models.
Read the FAQ.
No new quests. It's vanilla story.
We've made certain guns to wear quickly to make the gameplay more challenging, to make use of the repair kits (which would be useless if the gun was in pristine condition all the time) and to balance big firepower against the durability.
That's our opinion. Yours is that's silly. We respect that but we won't comply.
Don't like it? Change it.
Funny thing with this 3rd slide on their website. It says 'highly ancicipated comeback' but in other language versions it's just something like 'many international awards'. IMO it's just a mistake in translation and there is nothing to anticipate.
Never enough of fun :)
Well, there is no shortage of naive idiots in the world.
And it doesn't matter if the project is closed due to legal issues. No refunds on that site.
Looks like another scam to me. Even more shameless this time.
Here is what PC Gamer thinks of it: Pcgamer.com
I meant advanced options in game settings like texture quality, vision distance etc.
I'd like to point that SoC has been released in 2007. This engine is THAT old.
You can try to delete levels dir. This would remove all the new foliage leaving the zone ugly as it was before but you should get some FPS from limited geometry.
Also, select non ENB version, the vanilla FOV and grass distance in installer.
I hope I don't need to mention to reduce the settings in advanced options, do I? :)
Nevertheless, vanilla on dynamic lighting still looks much, much worse than AA2 on static lighting. But this is just my opinion.
Sorry guys, as I said, not gonna happen. We have no time to merge it back. You can try to extract it from the former version and merge it yourself.
AA2 is a closed project and there will be no more add-ons, patches or improvements from us in the immediate future.
Not gonna happen. I've said it 100 times: it caused too much problems so it was removed. Check FAQ for more info.
Err... this info is just above :P
Detectors don't just stop working. There is nothing in the script that could cause that.
Maybe you have just bad luck and there are no artifacts around.
Do you have any artifacts on you (if not buy one)? Try to drop one and check if the detector detects it.
Nothing except not taking any new tasks until you finished or cancelled the other ones (if possible). :(
Apparently this is a rare case of a broken save due to PDA buffer overload. We've battled this for a long time and managed to minimize its occurrence. Unfortunately it happens from time to time even in vanilla, other mods or in 'clean' ZRP.

How many unfinished quests you have in your PDA?
