Its not that he didnt ask permission, as I made it public, but its that He completely ruined it.

You have completely butchered the UI. I released the PSD so that you could copy/paste the layer styles, or edit them accordingly. All you did was chop it into pieces and **** it up so badly that it just looks horrid. I demand that you remove this. You are not allowed to use my work if all you're going to do is ruin it.

I do agree to an extent. The new dirt is lacking perspective, as it doesn't get darker as it goes down, so I think I will be repainting it. Same colours and general idea, but I would like to add some perspective for sure.

You replied to a really old comment, haha. I am actually now drawing them using my tablet, so its not pixel nor vector. Pixel art, though fascinating, is way too tedious and time consuming right now, and I can achieve the look I want with my tablet, and not have to sacrifice quality or time.

You can attribute that to my stubbornness. This game as a concept has been around for over 3 years now. I just didnt have the sharpened skills that I have today.

You should really look into some different textures. those are way too low res.

Yes, it is. Its had no progress, visually, but there is a new custom engine in the making. Ive not had the time nor energy to do anything with this project, but its never going to die, even if it takes me a decade. I loved the game concept, and I will be sticking with it.

On a side note, I may be replacing the pixel art graphics with vector art, but that all depends on the look of it.

I approve of this game. I for one do not promote the theory of evolution, but I do love how this game is turning out. expect free advertising from me. I disagree. Bad enigine but good community. as long as you aren't totally clueless and incapable, then you should be fine on their forums, but the engine is VB6 which is outdated and lossy.

We've recently hit a bit of a rough patch in finding an engine. sure, we've got one now, but it uses a GPL license, which in turn would force the game to be open source, and we would like for our work to stay closed. If we are not able to find a different engine, or a great programmer, we will have to stick with a GPL. I, myself, am actually in a current state of redoing the main sprite. Im going to try two different styles, and hold a poll to which one. Ill try to upload more news as soon as some floats by.

Why does this look so familiar? Ive seen the map in the right part of the header... Ive seen some of the concept art before... hmm... either ive seen this mod way earlier, or ive been shown personally some of the images. Im not even sure, but it looks amazing.

Not impressed from those images. The graphics are mediocre at best, and the mapping could be better still. This needs a total revamp before I would play it, but I like the idea. stick with it.

I'd rather not have a comparison between my game and a current MMO out for play, but if you would like some specific information, please ask. Yes, it is a platformer MMO, like how MS is, but I don't plan on having similarities in how the game is structured. Ask away if you would like to inquire about further information.

I believe its a photograph with added effects, but still better than what I could do I think.
