Thanks for the quick reply; I will download and play it!
Is Downpour necessary to play this mod? Or can I play it as a stand-alone?
Did you play it?
If not, here's a direct link: Mygames888.info
I love how OCD this is. It's also interesting how you introduced different kinds of crates and situations, forcing the gamer to think about how to utilize the different crates as best as possible.
Way too short to be enjoyable, but the premise is extremely interesting; I'm looking forward to future installments.
By the way, the area with the grass textures near the playground [with the fire and the pond] nearly ground my computer to a graphical halt. Less of that, please.
ROCK WINS ALL.
Great job on the mod!!
The only minor complaints I have are that the amount of random transporting is a bit disorienting, but maybe that's what you were going for; and the end portion was a tad tough, but nothing a few quick saves couldn't.. save.
Were you influenced in any way by Silent Hill or Afraid of Monsters? It seems that there seems to be a slight tinge of influence from those works.
Looking forward to your next project!!
I remember playing this mod a hell of a long time ago (back before there any branching paths, at least I don't remember any branching paths), and I gotta say, this mod still scares the living **** out of me.
Thanks for the endless nights of fright [and extremely quick monsters]!
Hmm, I've tried downloading this mod twice now and every time I click on it, it tells me that the file is corrupt.
I'm gonna try again and hope that third time's a charm; if not, I might have to unfortunately give up on this mod.
Hey mr_greenfish. I just finished up NatO (with all endings) and read your reply about the various comments on the mod.
I agree that you were able to portray the plight of the everyday-man by purposefully excluding the cross hairs, limiting ammo, and making the first portion of the mod consist of stealth.
I thought this mod was extremely unique, the setting was original, and at a certain point of the mod, I felt genuine sadness and despair about the situation.
In other words, great job on the mod; I loved every second of it!!
