Indeed, we put efforts into the creation of Player House, and it's interesting to see an Orc chatting with a Goblin, technically, not chatting, more like quarreling.You can not make an Orc chat with people, they are noisy. Haha!

Interesting, the rogue class was intended to take on this role but we are focusing on the core 4 classes that will release for alpha and beta. In the future we hope to implement several new classes but if we draw the focus too thin then the balancing may be off. Thanks for the suggestion.

At the moment these choices revolve around strategy. Perhaps they could also change the defense of a character as well. Good point, we'll bring it up with the Design guys. Thanks!

Yeah, I love the steam spitting from the skull, just scary.
Actually, we have thought of some form of that. Having ways of getting to specific dungeons (trap-doors) from within a player's house. Haven't thought of an actual train compartment as a player housing though, that's an interesting idea!
The trains in the open city scenes will be able to transport players to other parts of the city (a.k.a other scenes) btu we can always think of this idea. Quite interesting.

So, different people have different opinions and definitions, the key is freedom, control and vision/passion. We all have them, so, it's just a matter of understanding of Indie.:)
Ah yeah, we were thinking about such a character, not brilliantly powerful in almost every filed, and not extremely weak in a single filed, but the implementation and balancing is tough so it would only be after full launch when things are more settled.
