why dont you update your moddb site regulary?
that what keep people away from asking if this mod is dead or not
when you show regulary some stuff here the player base would increase fast and the beta testing is much easier because you get responds from many more people, then just from a form where people have to know about

I mean you got a great a idea and already a good start for a final mod with a constant player base.
just take the initiative!!!
