The weapons which came with 2.5 aren't really integrated. The normal weapons also got polished in the wrong way. Shotgun and Crylink are extreme dangerous weapons in close combat, which is bad because the Shotgun is a starting weapon and so way to strong. The Mg and Rifle are also much better distance weapons then the Nex.
So you can see re-balancing the weapons will be one of the hardest parts.

its a indie project, they doesnt recive any company support. they doesnt get paid, until they can sell thier product. its a huge risc for them, if the product fails they just got a lot of debts

i meant because you have a pretty solid base from OA.

if he uses darkplaces then it wont be a problem, it can easily handle up 3000 polys

how does it happen that you turn to darkplaces? isnt the OA code not good enough for that game?

compared to the original version of this map its highly improved! He just used that, because he want to replace the old q3 skybox, and this was a suitable high res skybox. In game it looks different, and less distracting. Cunniton want to replace this skybox and he is working on it.

its a redone version, which basicly got the same layout as gasolinepowerd. Both maps are made by FruiteX, but with this version he got some help from Cunniton, who made the skybox and added some brush work

its more like a remake with some addtions to make it as unique as nexuiz was.

Its based on Nexuiz, but got many improvement which where planned for 2.5.3 and 2.6 and also some new things.

the art style will be redifined and the game recives a total make over.

Just informing the people who are tracking this game is the best idea in my opinion, just to avoid drama and unnecessary attacks against anyone

i have spoke to some persons during the last hour and a moddb page for Xonotic will happen soon.

One general thing i forgot to add: Vermeulen and Lordhavoc will be mentioned in as contributors to Xonotic just as a matter of respect and what they have done especially in the early days. although they handled the situation (in the opinion of many people) wrong.

It works the same way as in q3 just that its more like a stun gun, then a saw.

cool medival style maybe you could turn it a bit more into viking style
