One Late Night

Game review

8/10 for being the only horror point and click game that really did make my heart jump. I can't tell you what happened as that would spoil it for you, so go play it, you won't be disappointed. And thanks to the developers for releasing it for free.

To the Moon

Game review

The word 'delightful' comes to mind when I think of this game. It's sweet, but not sickly; cute, but not cutesy. The story was very well delivered as often with time jumping plots, the story can tumble over itself and get confused, but To The Moon executed it perfectly. The graphics were 'old-school', but they didn't detract from the game as the storyline was so strong. I felt a little wistful at the end and recommend this game to anyone who has a heart.

The Cat Lady

Game review

The show ain't over until the Cat Lady sings. And didn't she sing well?! I adored this game and was sad when it was over. What did I love about it? Firstly, the voice-actors. They were tremendous. And it was refreshing to hear British dialects instead of the ubiquitous US accent. Secondly, it must be the script. The story-line was compelling and quite grizzly too at times. Coming up close in third place was the graphics. Initially, I found them a little jerky, but I did love the hand-drawn style. Made the characters feel warmer somehow. Highly recommend this outstanding indie game.
