For the cubes, the plan was to have the Companion Cube be the only "old cube". We've since switched to having all the cubes be this way.
Chambers 04/05 are combined in this, and Chamber 01 is remade to be how it is in Portal 2.

It's a problem with your game. To fix it, what you want to do is open Steam and navigate to the store page for Portal. Then add it to your cart and continue with the purchase. After which, install the mod like you're supposed to.

In Portal 2 if you look at the ceiling of the relaxation vault, there are frames underneath the glass - indicating there were panels there.
I'll just say it most likely won't release in 2014.
Looks nice, not a huge fan of the artifacting but this is still really cool looking. :)
If you're using regular normal maps you can try swithing to SSbump instead - it can help cut down on the artifacts if they're simple enough and saved using the correct VTF format and flags.
