I personally wouldn't make Murabit or Hashashi a monk maybe a special civ unit.

I would use Murabitoon for Andalusians and Hashashiin for Persians

Like for example

The Arabs can research Sunnism or shiism which would yeald a holy order unit.
Sunnism would give a Murabit whereas shiism would give a Hashashi.
