I apologize for that, we should have posted an article about us stopping the mod. I did leave a comment about it but it must be in another page.
I recently got contacted by a guy, working with Dibbler in the Inmersion Overhaul Mod, saying saying that Dibbler *could* help us with coding in this mod and revive it. Ofcourse this sounds all nice but it's nothing to get our hopes up.
Even with his great unreal programming skills (Check IOM) this game is still complicated to mod and we need more artists.

Help from TWI is hopeless, you can check what happened to the Vehicle mod team that was "working with" TWI to get new vehicles into the game.

I was wondering if you needed any help with the development of the game? I've been following this game for a long while and I see it's getting better and better.
I was working on a WW1 mod for RO2 and you can see some of my ww1 stuff in it's moddb page. If you are interested.

I was writing a long and boring text about our current status, but I don't see the point.
Truth is, the team has more inactive members than active ones at the moment. Progress is very slow. It's true that most are back from their vacations and stuff, but others are back to work/study.
Most of the progress from this months has been done in the programming aspect. But even when this progress is good, there isn't much one can show to the public yet. We do have some nice game assets to show, but we wanted to produce some more content before showing it.

I have experimented with this and it's possible. We might feature this in 1 map.

The website is up, and we are reorganizing our tasks since most of us are back to work again. :)
I can say I've seen some new stuff done for next Media Release.
I have now started reworking, with the help of Blitzk-Bob, on the game code. Since now that Rising Storm is out we have to change some things and also take from it! :D

Anyways, expect some more media soon.

Since I'm not in charge of the website I can't tell.
But why is it such a big deal? If we have anything important to show we can do it here.

Just wanted to say that we are bit quiet at the moment. But we are still working on nice things to show.
Most of us are just a bit busy with real life stuff.

But don't worry, good things come to those who wait!

This is the M1910 Tunic. For 1914 maps.
We will probably make the M1915 next for 1915-1918 maps.

This is a Rifleman. Schütze in German.
You are right about soldiers in general being called Landser, but in this pic we are featuring a Rifleman.

As with any custom maps, you will be able to play them with bots.

In fact, we have noticed that in some maps it can be very interesting to play with bots. If you are the commander you can order them to defend the trench or assault the enemy trench, which they will all do. And see some interesting massive charges in No Man's Land.

But anyways, bots will be supported but our focus is multiplayer.

It would indeed make the mod way more interesting. But unfortunately it's a very complex game element in RO2. We would need a dedicated team of people working on programing, animating and modeling the tanks.
It's not something we have decided not to add, but it certainly is not in our plans yet.

We will include some static tank wrecks.

Are the officers supposed to be a whole squad of soldiers? I thought they were meant to be a single person just like the squad leader.

We are focusing on the Western Front now. Once we have a working mod, we probably will add the Eastern Front too.
