The overhaul of IPs that you did with your VPN client is ingenious, quite honestly. I'm really interested in this new NGGCCL programming language you've invented and I can't wait to start writing some of my own!

The textures on the ceiling in the server room really bother me. The first two screenshots look great, but vent and the pipes kinda look really bad.

A Linux edition would solidify my purchase of private beta. I'm still on the fence about it right now, though.

Actually, they can. Apple's suing people for using 'their' ideas, so Warner Brothers can do the same thing. If they own the rights to the franchise, they can sue you for using it without their permission...

Mapping for HL also allows you a lot more room to work with and you can make your maps do more. Using Minecraft as an engine for a mod is pointless as you have to work your ideas around the engine. In Source, Goldsource, CryEngine, UDK or whatever else, you can do whatever you want without having to worry about whether or not you'll be able to implement what you want to do.

There's a solid base to work off of now, but OpFor especially would require a lot of extra work. Just because you have the textures and models, doesn't mean it'll be a walk in the park. Porting, updating and polishing all of the maps for a game of either of their sizes would require some serious effort.

If this was AAA quality, it'd be recycled garbage you played last year with new weapons. AAA quality is something to not shoot for.

And this is where someone tells me that it feels like a team with a huge budget made this game and that's what he's going for. I'm aware. The whole joke is based the fact that the state of the gaming industry is a joke and we need to boycott **** developers who only care about making more money in order to start getting more proper releases.

You're dumb as hell and completely missed his point. He was talking about it looking better. Honestly, with my AA cranked all the way up and the texture quality on Very High, game looks bad ***. To be fair, after 8 years, I figured it'd be more visually appealing, but I'm not going to cry about it. The game is great. The mapping is extremely well done, the models look good, the voice acting is top notch, etc. Someone posts a comment contrary to your beliefs and you guys all go apeshit. Settle the **** down. People are entitled to other opinions.

Just because one mod was never released doesn't mean that every other mod ever conceived will never be released.

If you guys are tired of Black Mesa, then perhaps the mod isn't for you? Honestly, it looks amazing.

It's the developers mod. If you want something more your style, download Hammer and get cracking. :D

Samsung Galaxy Tab or Asus Transformer Prime are my two personal favorites. The Tablet S is pretty cool, and Sony has been great with the developers (surprisingly...) for their Android devices, so it wouldn't necessarily be a bad choice.

This looks fantastic. Is the loading system done, or do you plan to make any more aesthetic changes to it?

How long did it take you to make this preview? My quick count suggests over 80 individually textured brushes. Would have been a pain in the *** to duplicate a brush 80 times, let alone retexture it. :P

Also, this is awesome. Thank you. I haven't downloaded it, but how should I give you credit for the textures? Just in the map readme?

A similar bug is if you jump between a car and a wall (can't remember the exact one, but I've done it with a couple) while sprinting and holding forward, you'll shoot out and lose a ton of health, if you don't die that is.

Use Evolve. I host the server for my friends and need to watch my firewall settings as well. Evolve's party system is infinitely better than using Hamachi.

I haven't finished the apartments, but I didn't need to find the code. The elevator is conveniently stashed somewhere.
