Half-Life 1 improver, beggining compiler.Well, count me as a noob in HL1 modding.Half-Life 2-texture editor.
To put matters worse it has been going on for quite a few updates now.I don't know what the devs are thinking doing this stuff.
Agreed, I wish the developers would just randomly start spectating rounds and see that Khaara just get overpowered more and more.Give marines some ******* slack or limit some of the stuff, Like onoses!Have one per 6 marines at least and lower its health or something.
That does work but doesn't that completly cut out most of the SMOD settings you guys have put up?
Just crashes upon launch to me, I loaded everything up, copied the Un-patch for HL2+HL2DM+CSS, still doesn't work.
I get the loading screen before the menu and then bam, error with a HL2.exe.
I actually agree.Alot of the time I saw early as **** onos rush moments where marines were just steamrolled.
Just spawn, start slowly building fighting get into the usual stuff when you find out that aliens have capped half the map and got onoses out the ******* ***.They had FOUR at the time.At least make a limit to 1 onos per like 10 marines, or balance the frigging exos and onoses so they can't be rushed toward.
This is so broken as heck. I got GOTY copy on steam, it demands I turn off UAC ( like hell I aint gona do that if I can go around that the easier way), it does not notice the expansion packs or the exe. Seriously couldn't you just make a simple installer for this that just installs everything in order instead of this clusterfuck?
Please tell me you will release these.Are they included in the demo?

All right.Test number 2 did this.Flashlight and shadows work however the problem is there is no more bloodspurts or smoke effects,they seem to have gone off.Original version works fine.I would appreciate the help
I tried a clean install of custom edition.What's the problem?It seems that the flashlight wont show up!At least when I attempt to go through the training course.Not having impulse 101 is annoying to testing.
Does not work for me,upload the flipping .rar,much easier and simpler and not a pain in the ***.

Anyway,will you be fixing the zombie ability to spawn anywhere near player so long that he cant see them?Like,for example, I go around the corner to grab a pistol,go back to the same place and now there's two more zombies there.
Still needs to add distance of zombie spawn from players.STILL NEEDS THAT!

I hope soon some of the cut content of AoMDC will be released,as it would be intresting to see what didnt make it inside.
On the words about ending,I am actually saddend that talent like ruMpel goes into such simplistic shooter like Battlefield 3,sure its intresting but...his talent can go into much more intresting games.Hopefully sometime soon after CoF we will see a horror game coming out from DiCE with ruMpel as the main developer.And of course its a good thing that he got a job in quite a big game developing company like DiCE.

On the model.Still seems to need VMT editing(I guess this is a WIP still),and possibly new arms?(They seem like some of the L4D ones)I might be wrong, of course, but they do look alot alike:P
Menter, dont mind me criticising but...
1)You need a proper weapon animator.
M16 reload is..well..horrid.Same about M40.Comparing that to charger animations for example, its really bad(in terms of quality.Charger anims=fluid,m16-robotic/not really fluid at all).
2)You need a better weapon textures artist(and possibly for other stuff)
Certain weapons look nice, but certain of them have horrific VMT editing,refmapping where its not useful,phong, and overall low quality textures(Does not look as good as render would show it to be now,eh?)
Other then that, keep on kickin'.Looks better then what it used to be definitely.
Very nice lighting, however, I would say it should be darker.When Declan arrives, its quite late.
Hmmm...try to put some barrels with fire, like in next few street parts.Perhaps broken street lights.The game goes on in evening/night, so it should be pretty dark.
Could you guys take a look at that?And possibly take it down?
Plus, as I said, Valve openly stated.They do not want content from games on Source engine going to GoldSource.And reverse.They do NOT want that.
There's a thing called respect.And I respect Valve's work, if you are making it-share it somewhere else.Dont openly release it to public.
Respect the rights of developers that gave you the ability to mod their games.Because you dont know if next year they will get annoyed with your "I want CS1.6 to look like CS:S but play like normal!" bullcrap and just halt all modding attempts like every other developer these days.
