well i watched the pax video multiple times...and it seems they have the technology and resources to do the ships at high fidelity, but aesthetically, it's still gearbox, ie, not that talented.
they're ok though, especially the hw2 ships which seem largely untouched aside from texture and shaders, so at least they won't ruin the aesthetics of the hw2 ships.
one of the graphics artists doing the hw1 ships didn't play the original game ffs. i mean looking at the media section, it's clear this mod made by amateurs has superior artistic sensibilities than the gearbox devs responsible for ships.

i've been won over by the recent material they showed,which were much better than the cel shaded crap they released initially. furthermore rob cunningham gives this his approval(but then again gearbox lent them the homeworld ip for shipbreakers, so he might just be being a good business partner)...however gearbox selling pre orders for a game before it showed anything was highly suspect so my suspicions were still well warranted
will you make a sim version featuring modern subs like akula and typhoon? the graphics are nice, i just can't handle the boring arcade gameplay.

doesn't matter how fast bullets travel, it depends on mass. it's not going to knock your helmet off if it is strapped, and it is almost always strapped on in the german army.
it only makes sense if only a few of the characters cna have their helmets unstrapped, but then it'll only come off when they fall down and it comes loose. a bullet doesn't carry enough force to knock it off.
either get real medieval clothing or gtfo
