Fuel is one of the resources, the fuel pumps them selves wont explode, but fuel tanks, canisters will.
Co-Op players can save one another if one is down(severly wounded). If you are down you will also have the option of suicide, respawning within Xamount of game time, at the nearest safe house, but losing some of the items you were carrying and get exp. deducted from your character's current level.
This will of course be tested in game first to balance the 2 out.
Dead Island's didn't really bring much in the survival category.
The missions where you had to get food or fuel and take it back to the lighthouse didn't really help you as a player trying to survive on a zombie invested island, what im trying to say is that no matter how many tins of food or fuel tanks you brought back to the lighthouse, you as the player never benefited from it, it never helped your survival and you never really felt like "this is my safe house i need to help the people here by making sure we have food and weapons.
It was more of a pure bread zombie head basing FPS and a great game in general.
So I completely get what your saying and yes im focusing more on the survival.
Yes this is gonna be as realistic as possible.
Supplies and weapons will be those that you can find in a town.
I want the player to freak when he gets his hands on a firearm, but then also use it only when 80% necessary.
Then I want the player to totally lose his mind when he stumbles upon a six pack tin-food and only eat it when 100% necessary.
Yes like you said I want the player to worry about everything, will I make it through the night, how many zombies can I cap with my 8X 12gauge rounds what if they find me here, where will I get the next batch of food for me and my survivors, where is my co-op friend that said he will meet me here, after he went looking for supplies.
Personally I think the best scenarios will come form playing co-op.

I have a phobia for deep water and sharks and when I looked at the screenshots I peed my pants.
I can see from the screenshot that you have to make adjustments to the FOV, but amazingly, it looks pretty darn good!!! Keep it up Pal!

Thanks, right after this update was made, the texture artist started improving the textures. I will replace the old pics with the new ones.
The pro version yes, but after the 30 days you have the normal version and that's free.
