Well, first off... I've been living in China since April working various part time jobs and making friends here and there and traveling a lot :) Other than soaking in the culture, making friends and practicing chinese day-to-day, I fit in a few hours of games a week! Usually playing Cogs or Multiwinia... but there are those days where I desperately need to boot into windows for my VPN or my desire to play Magic: The Gathering 2013 on Steam. And lately with all the news of Steam coming to Ubuntu by the end of the year, I could only imagine greater gaming advetures for my linux machines :)

The Humble Bundles have helped me through many days where I had no work and no ambitions to tackle the heat! But I do enjoy going out with friends and coworkers even if it means sacrificing sleep before having to work the next day :p

The summer has been eventful :) It's good to be here.

So Steam is coming to Linux! I know it's old news, but hey, I finally got around to writing about my excitement! The best part of this release is that it coincides with my return to America! Away from the treacherously slow internet that is Chinese Telecom! And seeing how this is being developed for Ubuntu 12.04, I see little reason to upgrade to 12.10, that and 12.04 being LTS and all... I think I'm rather comfortable this time around on the LTS train. Much better than that 30 hour train from Inner Mongolia to Hangzhou I made a few months back :(

Well, anways! Steam is coming at a fantastic speed with nearly biweekly updates! Valve and Steam will make my needs to dual-boot almost obsolete!
