I'm quite a gamer, and I've been mapping for the Source engine for about 2 1/2 years now, I'm not the most experienced person out there but I think I'm capable.Anyway, there isn't much to say, I'll let my profile speak for itself.
Good to see the FPS improvements on Vroom, my 4G ipod wasn't handling it too well for some reason, though I do still hope to see more SS at some point, congrats on getting Vroom up to speed. (Apologies for the horrific pun)
The atmosphere is indeed something else here, although those grass sprites are an eyesore, the source engine's default sprites are very low res, they don't really fit in the scene and it takes away from the atmosphere in my opinion.
God I love the art style, lovely work! Although personally I think a bit more of a fluorescent glow should be coming from those mushrooms.
Great mod, scarier than most commercial games, and that's saying something.
Reminds me of the school bathroom in Silent Hill
Now that is quality. The work you guys produce with the source engine is astounding, proves my point that the old gal ain't dead yet.
Lookin' good guys, great to see that you're dedicated to your work.
Jailbreak is awesome
With a kickass art style
I only wish it was updated more :(
Beautiful work I must say.
You really need to improve your mapping skills, I suggest looking at a lot more tutorials before even thinking this is in a releaseable state, even when you think it's finished. Your lighting attempts are bland and uninspired, and the whole thing just looks ugly and zombie spam cliche. Your doors lack frames, and much of the architecture seems to defy logic in places, plus overall lack of detail.
Can we expect bigger maps when it's done? I find this interesting.
That's an incredible model for Goldsrc, great detail and nice proportions.
I have to say I'm not much of a fan of the new setting. :| I was hoping for a STALKER like experience to be honest.
Phat, sorry forgot I posted this.
That fence definitely needs supports of some sort, but I now it's wip, looks nice, are you going for Killzone vekta style architecture? I can see a sort of style like that coming through.
Looks fun, I'll give this a download later.
I can't seem to get it to work on 5.00 M33?
Absolutely fantastic mate.
Yeah that seems to be in fullbright mode, Quake 2 engine uses lightmap based shadows, like Half-Life, which itself is based on the Quake engine.
Agreed, I was looking forward to this. I take it you you took out a ticket with steam support? They're usually good at dealing with these things. Ah I see you did take it to steam support, good.
Finally got it up I see, should be able to get something done this week if you like.
I still think this looks like a source mod. :P I read that you guys are absolutely pushing goldsrc to it's limits, refractive water and motion blur to be specific. Is that true? Anyway, this mod looks awesome, the work is incredible.
Any possible release date? I love lego:)
