I JUST HAD A GENIUS IDEA! Unity Quicklist For Desura! From what I know about quicklists thier easy to make (atleast OMG! Ubuntu makes it sound that way) you could have the quicklist also do all the stuff the panel launcher does!!!!!!!!!! I think its an epic idea cause it would make Desura feel like another part of Ubuntu which would be 1337ness! just an idea tho and I'm sorry if I just opened this thread to Unity h4t3rs out there.... BTW I personally LOVE unity!

hey i noticed that desura that the desura panel icon needs to be right clicked to bring up the menu but everything else just does a left click so it feels weird using the desura panel icon (ubuntu 11.04) not really a bug i guess tho, just kinda like a confusing thingy

ok i went into the folder itself and i set all the .sh files to exe as program in the properties. and now it opens but it has different error logs everytime i close it. also i have no sound whatsoever and IDK how to fix that

the free version however will simply not even get passed the gathering information stage

i bought king arthurs gold because it looked so good i just had to play it and after it finally installed it had an error and opened this log

i am running ubuntu 11.04 and for king arthurs gold it gets to the gathering information stage and then messes up and then tells me i need to restart the client. with red eclipse it brings up a txt file log that ends at loading video

red eclipse won't open it stops at video loading (i saw that in the log window it poped up) also king arthurs gold won't install BUT IT LOOKS SO SWEET! xonotic is cool but noone plays it :(

now i basically have a ton of games to look forward too!

thanks you guys this is awesome im typing this from inside desura right now!!!!!!!!!!!!! omg omg sweet! i didnt even have to add permissions so this was an easy install sweet now i can just move this folder into my games folder and add a shortcut and itll be 1337. the purpose of a .deb would be to automatically install desura into a folder that wasnt just whereever you extracted to and to add a shortcut to your launcher. (so basiacally just for newbs)

System76 Weldebeest or Leopard Extreme. I have Weldebeest though it was ordered with all the specs turned up it plays basically ANYTHING great i highly recommend, they have some laptops with great specs on there aswell

will we ever be getting a 64bit version? i dont have 32bit.......... i'm running 64bit ubuntu 11.04 and when it comes out 11.10..........

steam works about as well as a dog with a broken leg, yea it works but only kinda and you have to **** around to get each invidivual game working

i already put all my games under home in my "games" folder
