Yes, but it does require a few more steps to get it working. Just head over to the MTA forums, forum.mtasa.com and search for a topic about using MTA with the steam version of GTA:SA. If you cant find any topics on it just make one and someone should help you in no time.

Ive heard of people using torrented versions of GTA:SA and getting MTA to work with it. But it would be better to just buy the game so u wont have a lot of problems and maybe some tweaking to get it to work, and u can get the game for very cheap now.
