Why such a long time before this one triggers, I wonder?
This is silly and quite entertaining, I'll cast my vote. :3
Thanks for responding, and a single pack would be great! :3 Or, really, whatever's easier for you; I'm sure I can make it all work regardless!
I have a question about the Low End mod. Does it only work for the Sonic Unleashed mod? Or can I enable it with the base game to reduce the base levels' effects and such too?
I'm curious because I lag quite a bit on the game, mods or not, and was wondering if the Low End mod could help me run the normal game more smoothly too.
What, no comments for this mod? That's weird...well, I'll leave one! :3 I want to just thank you for this. Sonic Generations was poorly optimized in more than one way, yet all the mods I ever see of this game are to either add levels or make the game take even more resources to run by making the graphics even nicer. There doesn't seem to be any mods to help out those of us with lesser computers - except yours, that is! Thank you for this simple fix of allowing me to do without the lag-inducing blur. Now, even Chemical Plant Zone works with much less lag than before. :3
I must ask, is it possible that you could make mods to remove other aesthetic effects, like depth of field, post-processing, bloom, the like? I'd honestly like to do away with as many 'eye candy only' effects as I can. (And if the PC version of this game hadn't been a lazy console port, I imagine those options would all be defaultedly-toggleable anyways!)
It's kind of weird because most Unreal Engine games run great for me too. Just...this one doesn't. Gonna try the tip mentioned below.
Oh? I... Actually didn't think of trying that.
I'll re-download and give that a shot, thanks.
I was gonna actually LP this game on YouTube for the Halloween-holiday time period.
But I can't. And why? I signed up for Desura to say why.
Blur, bloom, and effects.
This is a very pretty game, and I honestly don't have a weak computer. But it's kind of criminal for you guys to develop something so pretty without giving any options - not even a single option - to reduce the graphical settings. It's rather laggy when I try to record the gameplay, but it's laggy even when I don't.
I played around in the ini files and tried to use the limited knowledge I had about UDK to tweak settings, but I failed and rather broke the game. I could re-download it and try again, but I think I'm a little too frustrated at this point. I'll just LP something else.
Again: GRAPHICAL SETTINGS ARE A GOOD THING TO INCLUDE. That is all.
