Dude, I highly doubt he's from EA.
For starters, he opened up with the rather unprofessional statement of "Haha, this is so stupid." Any large company employee wouldn't do that, for multiple reasons but the biggest is to maintain professionalism. Knights of the Old Republic isn't completely capitalized either, which shows unprofessional behavior and disregard for company property.
And finally, if EA really wanted to contact you, it would not be through public means, such as this.
That aside, EA does not actually own the rights to KotOR. Nor do they own the rights to create any Star Wars game, like T here has implied.
So in short, EA will not contact you, because this has nothing to do with EA.
Disney owns the rights to Star Wars, including video games, unless they choose to sell them. Personally, I hope Disney decides this more than worth their time, and they choose to contact with you, with an official contract.

Does there happen to be a Linux version, or is my best to try running it through WINE?
Otherwise, it looks absolutely great, and when my PC is back up and running, I'll definitely be getting it.

And I have a question(possible suggestion)... Is there any chance at a standalone version of that lightsaber progression?

The Standalone doesn't work for and I don't have Quake 2...
