Hm... It seems to be working for you as well... Let's see...
Black Mesa MAY OR MAY NOT be dead.
Got it to work with Steam.
I got it but I couldn't located a CDKey, and it doesn't seem to be working on Steam.
Still psyched for this mod!
Reminds me of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
And I really like S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
So theoretically, and judging by the trailer, I will really like this mod.
People complained, Jack Thompson cried, Valve and Moddb **** their pants, it was shut down...
Well, now you have time to work on this! :D
That's not where you put a telephone!
Very, very interested! This looks to be a great multiplayer mod.
I remember riding one of these down in Russia. It looked exactly the same. Nice concept you got there sir!
Whoa, this mod is now famous! This is doing a favor to the mod community. That one article from that one parental website had to first explain what a mod was to the readers before QQ'ing about this one. Talk about exposure!
I could have sworn that was just a picture of a PSP for a second :D
Anyway, finish the mod, put this model in there, and let us play the PSP version of the 14 mod... on this PSP :D:D:D
If only that was possible :/
mmm... cubemaps :D
Some one left a lot of their blood on the wall... but no body.
I see what you did there.
I don't really get what's going on with the fence, but other than that, looks good.
I'm not here to change your opinion and I don't give a **** what you think. I use reason and logic, and I know that noone can give up a mod after spending so much time and effort and getting so close to a final product. I really don't understand why you take time out of what should be a productive day everyday to post on almost every single page about your opinions on how dead this mod is. I don't really give a **** what you think, keep wasting your time.
There are over 1,000 pages of discussion for this mod. The majority being "IS THIS mOd ded?!", "You dumbshits, this mod is ******* dead.", "STFU THIS MOD ISN'T DEAD!", or "I am leaving this discussion forever because all of my hopes were smashed." posts. Are we really still discussing this? There haven't been any updates here but if you have been paying attention to the wiki and the forums you can tell that it is not dead. Let them finish it already. They honestly don't give a **** if one person stopped tracking the mod because they didn't release it by their birthday. They don't want to release a ****** final product, no matter how much people are complaining. Now sit down and wait.
I wonder how that makes a complete statement also a complete thought or phrase did you me you might say?
Well, anyway... Happy New Year! Off to continue the celebration!
If you release it at 11:59, December 31st, 2010, I will eat my shoe... but probably more out of happiness than to prove a point...
Haha, great timing for that post. I can now imagine all of the impatient fans getting up Christmas morning expecting an epic update, but end up getting that instead xD.

"VAC status: ban(s) on record | ?"
Congrats on getting unbanned though, better luck than me xD. I would have been more ****** off than you if I was banned from CSS, as for my current MW2 ban, I really didn't give a **** in the first place. Looking forward to some progress!
Incredible. Few will put so much effort into stuff like this. I don't see a single standard Source texture. This is the future of game environments... on a 6 year old engine.
Can you stop replying to yourself? There is a 2000 character limit. And the person behind this mod said time and time again that these are only TEMPORARY and that he will use his own models instead of low-poly versions of hl2 models.
According to them, you have to put some sleeping pills in Spaghettio's and write a note that instructs to wake you up at the end of 2010, and they put emphasis on making sure that you don't screw up the 2010 part. Or something... they later clarified that this could be any number of things, including a release, new media, a twitter update, a new trailer, or even someone changing their avatar.
Short version: you'll have to wait until the end of 2010 at the least. But hey, an update a year after the last is better than no update at all.
A SiN reference? NICE! But seriously, Good work! I've tried making a rats-style map of a game store one time, and it took a lot of effort getting the textures set up, even without modifying the box art :D.
I swear it seems like that's what half of the people posting here believe.
This is the internet, stuff like that happens. And just for asking you'll probably get additional negative karma.
I doubt it, but if it is the Devs are the biggest dumbshits to ever grace the planet. I can understand when somebody quits a ****** mod that barely has any work done, but Black Mesa? All of the media, the updates, posts on the wiki point to a lot of work that got accomplished. I don't know anyone, especially an entire team, that could just get up and say "**** it" to all of the progress made on the mod and all of the hype they generated.
I'm not really disappointed that the mod didn't make the release date, I knew that November 19th was a rumor and that I shouldn't get too excited. I'm more surprised that trolls... won? It all started when there was a rumor spread around that the mod will come out on November 19th. Instead of treating it like a rumor and going with the maybe/maybe not approach, people just jumped to the conclusion that the mod will definitely come out on the 19th. What happened next? Other people came along and directly negated the release date rumor. These two things have nothing wrong with them, the comments section is often used for discussion, but when people from both sides of the argument post numerous times on multiple pages, trolling and getting trolled back... I'm glad I wasn't part of that. I am having a laugh looking through the comments before the 19th. Can't people just patiently wait? The Devs are trying hard to get a great end result, it's not like they have the mod done and are purposely not releasing the mod to **** the community off. The Devs decide the release date, you can clearly see what happens when the community tries to. I personally thought this whole thing was hilarious, but I'm sure there are some people *cough cough below me* that are actually upset and have taken arguing on the internet seriously.
