Small bio, mhm, born Germany, raised in England from the age of 12, stayed there until the age 27. At the same time graduated from UCLAN's Games Design Course, left to go China where most of the smaller detail leading up to this point has happened.
I don't consider myself pro with 2 and a half years industry experience, but I do consider myself a pro-gaming veteran! ...if there was a game like CS or Diablo2 again. However, all in all I am not looking to go back into the games industry working for a big company with boring ideals. I rather stay here and contribute what I can to the real creative passionate people.
I am new, not new as in I don't have a clue what is going on here. I did study Games Design at UCLAN where I met most of my buddies, who are pretty much trying or working for games industry. Some try to make their own game, however as everyone knows here, it's not fucking easy at all. So even though i'd like to make at least one game before I die, lol. I know I'll have to shorten my reach and just work on whats do able now.
That means, I can help others with some of my 2D skill sets. I can do 3D too, but since it's a much longer process with lots technical hurdles and my time always shorter with many things going on, I like to roam on the outside with 2D for now.
I recently quit my second real job in the games industry simple because I didn't like how they just copy and clone what has been done and shown success. Why not try something new? I hate lack of creativity and boring. Of course nothing comes from nothing, so in order to break this current generation of bland games you need to start somewhere. And I think moddb is a good start point, looking around what people are trying to do without much aid, it's pretty refreshing.
I am always here to help, just send me an email or pm. Sometimes I will try sponsor projects that I think have potential to blossom with some of concept skills, however since I have no job, and no income I am forced to scout for paid jobs most of the time. So the real issue is always time.
Here by the way you can see my history of sketching
