That nuclear symbol circle is definitely not 100% on perspective. But as far as the general design, I went for a feel of a collection of the three techs (magnet, tesla, nuke) thrown together around that central, utilitarian, sloped building where the researchers would eat, sleep, and go over their findings.
That's the idea anyway.

My thinking was Futuretech = Refined to perfection = No ugly cross beams! (that's for the UC)

Love the magma. You did a really great job with the main parts of the concept, better than I imagined them :P
It's thanks to our talented animator, modeler, and texture artist that these concepts I do come out so awesome in game. All I do is figure out how something might work in game and design/paint it :P
