Excellent custom story. Very creative, perfectly placed scares and a very cool environment. A little tricky to install. You don't just place the folder in your custom story folder. You either have to unzip the entire thing to your Amnesia folder or place the contents manually where they need to go. Very good story though. One of my favorites.

Not bad. Not bad at all. It's pretty short but well made. Seems to be bug free, which I really like. Overall, good job with this one. I really enjoyed it. I would really like to see another one from the creator of this custom story.

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Absolutely the BEST custom story/mod I have EVER played for Amnesia. Once I started playing, I couldn't stop until I finished it. I have never enjoyed a custom story/mod this much and I have played a TON of them. Excellent job with this one!

Excellent custom story. I have played through many custom stories and What Lies Beneath is truly one of the best. This is one damn creepy house with incredibly good effects and scares. Cool puzzles too. My only complaint would the the flickering textures. If the creator of this story would get those flickering overlapping textures fixed then this would one be a solid 10.

Sorry, I have to agree with some others here. This story is just too long. It would have been better breaking it up in chapters. I just lost interest after several hours of gameplay. It was really well made though.

COMBINATION DOES NOT WORK. I am soooo tired of this happening in custom stories. I get to really enjoying a story and then the combination bug comes up. Usually it's a hammer and chipper. This time it's the copper tube and hollow needle that will not combine. This story is bugged.

Hammer and chipper bug. They will not combine. This story is unplayable for me. I don't consider a save file coming into the story after the hammer and chipper bug worthy of even being played. There are many other good stories that don't try and use the hammer and chipper combination. I'm really getting sick of this hammer/chipper issue.

I wish the creators of custom stories would stop using the chipper and hammer combination! Just please stop. This is ANOTHER custom story that you could possibly play for a while only to find the hammer chipper bug where they will NOT combine and you will have to stop playing.

Here's another custom story with a game ending bug. If you don't escape from one of the monsters near the end in like 2 seconds and this monster kills you then you are permanently locked out of the room you need to get to finish the story. Poor design.

I'm giving it a 5 because this story is really well made until it gets to the hammer and chipper bug. I played this story for a very long time until it got to the part where you are supposed to combine the hammer with the chipper to continue. That combination didn't work so I had to stop playing.
