The most remarkable thing of Absolute Redemption is the try to make a spin-off of HL1 and the creative areas like the Himalaya and the Amusement Park. The design of the mod in general has positive things and bad ones, like the monotonous environment in the warehouse and not very well made modelling in several places. Has a something engaging story, but because the maps has so many dead ends (so long that they even need a loading screen) I quickly lost interest. Suddenly, in the warehouse part, I was desperate to end the mod in a piece. As for the length, it was good enough, but because of the dead ends and the long scenes it seems it has artificial ways of making the mod long. The gameplay has less action than Half-Life, something that really hurts the experience considering this is a spin-off of HL. I don't recommend Absolute Redemption at all, but on the other hand, it's a classic. I leave it up to you...

Not much a great game. At least is enough to have fun for a while. For being a co-op, it's not bad either, but there are not much strategies to do. In fact, in higher difficulties, most of the times you have to wait for a long time taking cover to avoid shots. Though, in some parts the real action appears and the game becomes more entertaining. The graphics are excellent, really well worked, but the atmosphere it represents looks similar along the game. After a while, the gameplay can get boring (I think just a few times) and also the story, that by the way I've never thought it was interesting. The game was long enough and has lots of gore, at the point I almost thought was unnecessary, but that's personal choice. And the end, though short, is the best part in my opinion. If you really games for just killing guys and with lots of blood (like every one of Epic Games), you won't regret playing it.

When I first played this game, I've mainly interested in the mining feature. However, then I learned that Minecraft can really help improving the creativity of people, just having an idea and begin to construct. The only bad thing is... if you don't have a plan or idea to do, it doesn't worth trying this. The game itself doesn't engage you, you have to engage to it planning something.
The graphics are horrible, but I learned that is its particularity. Has some other interesing features like crafting. In conclusion, it's a nice game if you are extremely bored.

I thought this development team always would make good mods and with an interesting particularity, but RE:CB is, compared to the other ones, a disappointment. The mod shows the great job of the developers in the ambience, that looks pretty much like Resident Evil, though the creatures are mostly reskins of Half-Life's. The gameplay, at first, is extremely difficult, but the more the tries the easier it becomes. Also, along with the story, I don't think is interesting or entertaining at all. As you repeat some maps, you find new forms to walkthrough easily, mostly because of "bugs" (try to kill a dog standing on it). The zombies that respawn when you die in several places is cool for avoiding cheating. A crappy thing is in some maps, specially the mall, once you advance in it (this means altering some portals with switches, buttons, etc.), when you die you can't get back to the very same spot you died.
RE:CB, in few words, resembles a lot of things of Resident Evil atmosphere, and is challenging at first, but becames easier by remembering spawns of objects and zombies (and other things) and trial and error. I would recommend, though, play it with 2 or more friends as it can be insanely difficult and frustrating to play it alone.

Playing a great HL mod like They Hunger in Sven Co-op is a new experience, just like any Co-op mod of HL, although this mod focuses specially in providing heal; weapons; and spawn zombies in new places, therefore, in the combat instead of the story and another good things from the original mod. I didn't like the heavy zombie and the Otis zombie, not because of the difficulty, but it didn't fit well with the real ambience of They Hunger. Also, it gots 2 of the 3 episodes, so the last one must be played in the original mod. I like the reviving teammate feature and the infinte supplies of ammo and health, but unfortunately distorts the unique gameplay of They Hunger. If you like just killing zombies and liked the environment of this mod, this is for you.

This one was well made in several aspects. Amazing areas and cool new fiends, all of them tough. The plot goes on spectacularly and the end is unexpected and good. The gameplay in outdoors is excellent and provides another options for tossing things with the Gravity Gun. Fortunately, the impractical Aux Power feature was removed, and now sprint and flashlight consume 2 different powers. The final battle is what I most remark of this game but getting the related achievement can be really difficult. Hope Episode 3 would be released someday...

This game is at times good, at other bad. I liked the new enemies, but, on the other hand, didn't like the return to the Citadel (it's like the 3 first chapters). Nothing to say about the models and textures, because there are no differences. Again appears that annoying Aux Power for Oxygen, Sprint and Flashlight, that doesn't make easier use more of 2 functions at a time. The plot goes by slowly and it becames more entertaining at the final chapter. In a nutshell, I think the only remarkable thing is the plot progress.

Not as good as HL 1, but it's a respectable sequel. The plot reminds me of Orwell's 1984 but having the Combine as the real Big Brother (Breen likes to call them "our benefactors") is the signature of HL2. The Source engine is not that bad: has good ambiences because of the adequate lighting and the textures. Possibly, the only things I don't like about this game are the ragdolls as corpses, because I think looks dull in occasions and specially the stupid Aux power that can't allow both swim underwater and light dark areas easily (or run while light). Although the HL1 weapons has less ammo capacity, it doesn't screw the gameplay at all. As a final thought, I think the end is unexpected and it could like to many players that are really following the story.

I play this on Project 64, but as for the other Worms's games I've played, this one is just as difficult as the others. Needs good judgment, good positioning of worms and (one of the most toughest things) calculate strength and length of some weapons, as well with the aiming. The graphics are not so well, but they are not horrible fortunately, excellent for some old PCs. With plenty of weapons and map configurations, and of course the wide options for configuring your own teams, this game really assure tons of fun.
