Just tested in-game with the launcher and it seems to be 1.0.

Yeah, i don't know how that is possible, but whatever. I will just play from the .bat file. No big deal for me.

Starting the game from the launcher does not seem to launch the new version, at least not with the maps.

Launching from the .bat file seems to work though.

I've noticed one issue so far,

The behavior AI of all new player-controlled space units (303 mk2 for example) is botchy. After getting in range of an enemy, the ships do not bother to face any enemies. Instead, they just sit there when the command to attack them is given.

Other than that, nothing else to report. The enemy AI still sucks.

Hey, where do you find all your created missions?

I accidentally gave the two missions the same number, and i cant seem to find the folder where all the missions are kept.

It gets confusing once your at 200, so many missions >_<

Also.

Surprise(Storyline mission) is impossible to beat (unless i micro them for half an hour, which im not gonna do) . Either they outpower me, or Nexus crashes wwhen i skip Nav points 1-3 and arrive at Nav Point 4.

Atlantis shield is too weak.

I find it amusing how 10 BC304s can kill 10 Apophis motherships with just railguns. (on all three difficulty modes)

Just my thought here, but, sometimes the enemy's hull is destroyed, before the shield can be disabled. (Not very realistic in the series. Shield went down first all the time.)

Never mind on my previous post. Fighters are COMPLETELY useless, and they just take up my CPU. 302's fire a few missiles which hardly do any dmg, and then they run out of ammo. Gliders are just weak in general.

Puddle jumpers are slow. They take like 1-2 minutes before they stop circling atlantis and fight.

Replicator Spider ship is WEAK(or is it replicator cruiser?)
I mean, they fire 1 projectile every 5 seconds, which tauri railguns can destroy. Now the little cruisers, who are supposed to crash into ships, dont crash into atlantis.

And when can we beam warheads into the enemy ships?

Because i have vista, but its a windows 7 since i installed that over vista.

It could just be a compatibility issue.

Right click your launch icon for nexus > Properties > Compatibility > Run this program in compatibility mode for:

Then select windows vista, and SP2 or SP1 (SP2 if you have it, SP1 if not(service pack))

If that doesn't work, try running updates. That tends to fix some issues that ppl deal with.

Well, for one, Territorial conflicts (storyline mission) [or 1 of the storyline missions] is just a video. Wraith hive atacks another wraith hive, some cruisers come in, then some other guys come in and save the hive, and thats it. Just 1 big video. No gameplay.

-Beam weapons don't do so much damage as in the show (don't know if you just did this for gameplay fairness)

-Some of the missions, i find almost impossible to beat. The one where you have a travelers ship and you have to spy on the wraith, i can't seem to kill all the reinforcements (with my best tactics)

-The battle for Aldans has a balance issue. I can win against the asgard ships being gou'uld, but not vice versa. (in fact, i can't even kill 2 of the ha'taks)

--And when i do play as the gou'uld, i can't destroy the rest of the asgard reinforcements, more than 3 of their ships still operate.

-Fall of atlantis mission is unbalanced. The wraith win everytime during the 2nd wave.

(Im also playing on beginner for all of these)

-Enemy ships still fire at cloaked oddysey. (very good distraction for the rest of my ships to kill the enemy untouched)

-Gou'uld vendetta also seems unbalanced and unbeatable.

-Ancient ships need more shield and hull strength. (They did make their hull have the strength of a shield, and used zpms for everything)

-Fighters seem ineffective on medium-large scale battles. They just like to lag (especially when it's all gou'uld)

-Wraith seem to weak in skirmish battles. Gou'uld ships pwn them easily.

I hope to see all these improved (if not most) and await a campaign if one is under development.

I figured out the mission thing, i was using v1.00 not v1.01. My fault.

Love the mod so far :). Although, there are some balancing issues you need to work out, and some of the missions (which seem uncompleted to me).

Overall, excellent mod.

I am having alot of problems with this mod.

Ill go in order:

I launched Nexus, and i launched this SG mod under modifications. I started new campaign, and screen goes black and does nothing. *sigh*

I try using skirmisher, but it doesn't work. I pressed create mission (with everything correct like you put in the readme, and some ships for both sides) And it didn't launch. *sigh*

Then i tried again, and opened up Nexus. Now im constantly getting this error when i launch Nexus using the mod:

File: universe\mod_missions\1_skirmisher_mission. mission
Line: 1

MISSION >>>1<<<

Description: Mission already defined

(Press OK to quit)

*headache*

I tried going to that folder, but that file didn't exist. >_<

Is this mod supposed to be played from Nexus>Modifications>SG Mod(not exact name) ?

Because if thats the case, when i try to start a new game, it gives me a black screen.

If not, is everything supposed to be run from Nexus Skirmish?
