I really don't know why it's crashing still, even I tried default "update settings" When I pick up the orb and turn around and walk maybe three steps it crashes immediately. Something is wrong with that part, because everything else is working fine, but that part not.
A brute is activated 2 seconds after you get the shard. I wonder if the brute model on your computer isn't working in general. Can you play another custom story with a brute in it and tell me if it crashes as well?
