I currently work with SWR Productions and Blind Mind studios to work on the SWR Projects (Shockwave, WarGames ZH, Rise of the Reds) and Star Ruler. Doing a friend's purge of people that I don't really know, only those that I talk regularly and actually have conversations with (that is in voice chat or in person) are to stay here. Don't take it personal guys, just don't want it to be a "OH LOOK HOW MANY FRIENDS I HAVE" type of thing.

Also, I used a model from zero hour(Crusader.w3d). I took it from w3dzh.big and changed it. I wanted to know if I had to do anything with it afterwards, like put it in the ZH/Art/W3d folder along with skins in textures folders(I used some altered tank skins and put them into the textures folder, saved as both .tga and .dds file). I followed the tutorials guide for coing the ini commandset/button. and I wanted to know why it says i have an error. so let me know and I'll narrow the problems as they r cleared. I think you might be able to help me so please do....
What are HOUSEcolors, when I model the tutorial says something about housecolors, so what r they?
House colors are the correlation of the player with the corresponding unit or structure (in other words, its a color picked for the player so he knows what is what), you may want to check our forums and see if you can get further help in there. But thats basically what it is.
Hey, is it possible for you or some of your team members to send a tutorial showing me how to model and skin(creating skins/textures) other tutorials don't help me with the skinning very well, and I have always wanted to know how to model, I have made some basic tanks but not skinned them, also I dont know how to take them from there skinned and textured status and put them ingame so please help me out. I'd be most gracious and may send some maps for zero hour to you or something, so please help me. THANKS ALOT FRIEND..

hey COMR4DE, i've been folowing ROTR for a while now, very pleased to hear about merge with the EU. i'm a bit late with this comment (maybe a year or so :P ) anyway, i just wanted to say that even though i've liked all of your skins, i particularly love the buildings you've done. the russian buildings look so much better than the others. they all look too cold and sterile, and impossible to build at the frontline at such short notice. they look like someone just droped a shiny metal cube about the size of your thumbnail, which just started to morph and transform and construct itself into a building. it's so stupid. but yours however, are absolutley perfect! they look very frontline, like the russians had to build them at short notice so they just grabbed what they could, shipping containers, concrete slabs, and bricks. your buildings look so much more dirty and realistic. if the buildings in ZH and other mods were any shinier, they'd be hover buildings that can just fly off when things get too hot :P
love the mod, keep up the good work to all the ROTR team, and the newly joined EU modders. best of luck to all of you.
I'm just going to reply to both of you lol. Thanks for the praise fellas, I'm sure the mod will not disappoint as we're taking great expense to bring you a balanced, fun mod with two of your most wanted factions in Generals. Since we have basically started from scratch, we can modify the game as we please, giving you completely new generals from what you were used to in ZH. This means that yes, China, the US, and GLA will be included in the mod, as it has always been planned to. This mod only makes an additional 2 factions into the mix and places them in the ring 20 years after the Zero Hour storyline. We wont be adding to many new models for the infantry however, as we'd have to replace all of the other infantry in the game, we are an enhancement mod and will keep consistent with the Generals art style. Therefore you wont see one model (from russia)that looks better than another from one (from the US)- this does not me we wont improve existing ZH models however :P.
In all, we hope you will enjoy our next releases, we have a plan to release a first release to get your hands wet, this proposed version would be called 1.5 and would include all 5 default factions, meaning no generals and just some of the units from some of them to see how its going to be like. Version 2.0 will include all of the functioning Generals and units as we intend the mod to be.
This isnt totally 100% sure it will happen, we may just go ahead and create 2.0 off the bat, but I guess time will tell. Until then, sit tight and stay tuned.

How are you doing? Hope you are doing well. I have some questions about the mod. No, not wehn its relased, you are done wehn you are done. ;)
I just wanted to ask if the GLA is still in the mod. My dreams was it always to have a mod with both the 3 main parites and EU and Russia in it too. Well, so far your mod looks very cool, but say, how is it looking with realism?
How many modern day untis will each site have or will they get all types of future weapons? I would try to balance it, adding weapons from today plus everything thats currently in development or soon to be deployed. I would at least suggest to give China the Type 98/99 Tank along with all the other gear they currently use. Another question i: how will the Infantery look like? Are you guys going to use the orginal ZH soldiers or reeplace them with new models? The russian mod "Real War" has some really cool looking and well detailed Infatery models. Would love to see more detailed soldiers in the mod.
So, btw: if you guys need advice regarding military gear and what stuff the armies are using today and might use in the future, please let me know. I have a good sortment of links to all kinds of military sites and I also could give you some info or two, because I study military hisotry, gear and utins in my free time and read all kinds of books about it. I might have one or 2 suggestions you people might like.
Well, anyway thats currently all for know, so let me know if you guys want to hear some of my ideas or not.

All factions will still be available for playability my good friend, its why we state 5 factions. Each of the factions will eventually get their own Generals, a total of 15 unique Armies.
As far as realism goes, we will promote steady realistic units, loosely based on reality into a "Generals" style. In other words, the mod will include fictional and non-fictional units hand in hand; A CnC game.
Have you think about RotR 3.0 development yet???
Like adding more factions to the mod (like Indonesia, maybe. Hehehe)...
