Doing a friend's purge of people that I don't really know, only those that I talk regularly and actually have conversations with (that is in voice chat or in person) are to stay here. Don't take it personal guys, just don't want it to be a "OH LOOK HOW MANY FRIENDS I HAVE" type of thing.

In addition this is not to be used as some sort of Technical support page, use our forum here:
You may need to register.

You may also not want to send me suggestions for the mod, I wont read them.

That is all, hope you have a good day either way =)

Hello I have the rotr beta 1.1
its the best mod I have ever seen and , I have seen about 10 so far including the top ones like destructive forces and contra, MEC, and Blitz Krieg

basically is there a way I can view the INi Files (if indeed there are any)
I love to play around with things on my own version, such as make plane formations large for huge air strikes,
by toggling stuff in the object creation list.

I tried using final big but it does not seem to show up,
have you used somthing else?
If indeed you don,t want people to edit your game I can respect that, but I just love to toggle values, and weapon power etc.

so if its ok, please let me know what file viewer i need to edit these things in rotr

I will tell my friends and you can be sure we will start working! I cannot thank you enough, Comrade General! And, if it works and we finish our mod, I will send you it.

Oh, and, can I offer you something? When you make a new ShockWave update, could you put a naval general, who has battleships, submarines, dolphins and aircraft carriers? I am an absolute maniac about ships and I love hover units. And I don't think I am the only one, who loves them!

Holy crap. Folks, this is what happens when you neglect your profile for long extensions of time!

If you'd like to learn more about zero hour modding or .Big editing, go ahead and ask this on our forum where other modders can get you their own insight.

We use 3DS Max to model our content. 3DS Max 7 to be exact, and we tend to use multiple addons to help us develop our content faster and more efficiently. To texture we use Adobe Photoshop (our version vary from staff members) and finally we use Renegade tools (W3D Viewer, etc) to implement smaller unit effects, particles etc. It's fun stuff but it has a huge learning curve and I suggest you take the time to look at tutorials and learn to do this yourself, or go ahead and ask away on our forums.

Hope it helps. :)

The Music Pack actually includes our complete soundtrack, you do however require to decrypt from the .big using something like DragonUnpacker. That should help you check out even the models and texture files we use for the mod.

To everyone else:

We do not publicly state when the next version is due. "It will be done when it's done." will be and always will be the answer you'll get. Thank you for your praise and comments and we hope you have enjoyed the mod just as we have been developing and playing it :)
