This is actually an interesting idea. Maybe not a loading screen as the noise would really really grind after a while, but it could be part of the intro titles or something?

Is there any particular reason the AI was given infinite funds? It just seems like a way to make the game extremely unbalanced in their favour to me.

Its wierd, I have not trouble with the regular ZH AI and it behaves in a very similar way. I just have trouble dealing with an initial tank rush from the soviets. I build MG emplacements and put LAW troops in, but the tanks have greater range than the LAW troops. If the LAW troops are out of cover, they get mowed down by the tanks. Its a Catch 22

Must be really hard trying to code behaviour for some animals that have been extinct 65M years (or longer), especially when there are so many different views for how certain ones may have behaved (eg T-Rex: scavanger or hunter).

Looking farward to this, love the JP series. Are you going to release a public beta or are we going to have to wait for a full release?

I like the idea of being able to tailor make my defenses as required. In theory, with these modular platforms, I can make a pltform that can effectively defend against capital ships and fighters at the same time.

Maybe I'm being picky but shouldnt the Halcyon Class Cruisers be quite rare? In the books (which ARE canon) it's mentioned that theyre being phased out. In fact the only one featured in any canon story is the PoA which is refitted for a spec ops mission anyways...
