Guess I might as well write something here. I'm a nice guy from Germany, I like PC Games, Star Wars (particularly Mandalorians), Warhammer 40k & Warhammer Fantasy as well as tabletop in general. Also other Sci-Fi and Fantasy stuff. And Metal. I'm also interested in the medieval period, owning different pieces of armor and doing some show-swordfighting. I play guitar, occasionnally draw things and build costumes such as my mandalorian armor.
Added some Mando'a writing to my helmet to make it look more interesting. Written on the left side of the dome is my full mando name, "Mirsh Beskaryc" and on the back the phrase "Ke'partay Galidraan"(=Remember Galidraan), to remind us all why we should hate the Jedi.^^
At least the Jedi realized Galidraan was a mistake afterward so I don't think hating them is really that warranted. Not to mention that Canderous didn't have any hard feeling toward Revan even though Revan crushed his people so I don't think it's Mandalorian to hate opponents that defeated you.
It's less about having been defeated but more about the Jedi intervening in a conflict they shouldn't have (and promptly literally ******* everything up they could have). And while the Jedi may have realized their mistake at some point, they never faced any consequences for it.
The Crusades were very different, the Mandalorians directly attacked the Republic and the Jedi were indeed respected at that time due to their martial prowess. The Mandalorian Civil war was an internal conflict that actually didn't affect the Republic at all and the Jedi never should have taken action.
But it mostly is a reminder that a lot of Jedi were indeed self-righteous ******** who always thought themselves right because they of course were "the good guys".
Also the phrase is a reference to "Remember Reach" from Halo.^^
I once thought about putting some Mando'a Words on my beskar, however I have no calligraphy skills whatsoever and It's probably a good thing because I would have put something cheeky like "Filloni is a Di'kut" or "Micky Mouse can kiss my shebs"
I know a guy who has "Suck my spear" in mando'a written on his codpiece. "Ke'sooran ner beviin" or something like that.
