You can't do multiplayer but if you make a bot that automoves you could create a place to fight, and beat eachothers places. The maps should be in your rawbot's documents folder, the biggest file is the map file. Currently its called stardust
alpha should last awhile. Get it when you are able to, its a good game. Steep learning curve so check their website's reference and forums to learn how to play when you get it.
Good game to play, get it when you can.
The game's graphics is a bit off. My UI is cut off.
This also is a problem with working on editing objects.
The game, and demo, are alike for now. There is no multiplayer yet.
Same problem. After playing for a time, game freezes up. It happened three times, first two loaded after a bit, last I didnt bother waiting and force-quit the game.
It would help if the readme was in-game.
The buttons work, they just are glitched to blackness. As is every other menu-type screen.
So far it is every week. A week or two waiting isn't bad for updating a game. Also, if you haven't figured out the answer to your other post, the game and demo are the same since the game is not built yet.
Will there ever be a triangle block for creating and building? For building a few things, and creating a few tools, a triangle block would be useful.
Will there later be an option to change if scenery is solid?
I've mentioned earlier that playermade tools rewrite themselves. That is true also of scenery placed. If you create a scenery object, and it's tool is changed, the scenery object changes as well even if placed with a different scenery design.
I hope my questions don't pester you much, and help you a bit with figuring things out.
Alpha version is a demo. The buttons you get a demo message for are there for when they are usable in the future I guess. New world creation is not built in, but will be. As you said, you have Alpha. It is being built. A post below AlwaysGeeky mentioned why the game is as it is.
Could scenery be made to stack on other scenery? Or a new type of object which does so? Suggesting this for the ability to make a building or to build something without it being one giant placement. Also, could mine tool remove scenery or there be a tool to do so?
Cool game, but item creation is a bit buggy.
1. I tried to create a bow and ammo, but when I went to make a bow the ammo changed to look the same. It happened with creating new items. Both items are marked right(bow, ammo) but are stuck looking the same.
2. In selecting item type, the game calls ammo ammmo.
3. Not sure if a bug, but I can't figure out how to name an item. I enter the name, save, and it does not change.
The game is good, and I hope it gets these fixed, and more added to it. Except for the mentioned bugs, item creation is good.
Could the workers/creatures falling into the ground glitch be fixed?
Played the demo, then got full because I like the game. Crashes get fixed as you figure them out, it was no guide or tooltips that was worst to me. Being able to understand it without having to guess is good, thank you for the update.
Thanks for tooltips and tutorial. Are there any controls other then the mouse and the save keys?
Its a nice game, but it bugs me a lot. Can't read the guide, there is no guide in game, it crashes a lot.... Also, not sure if guide says a way to do so, but there needs to be a cancel order function.
