Most definitely not. Unfortunately, a lot of our art assets are complete now, and they're the most easily shown pieces of progress. Most of the work is going on behind the scenes now, coding, mission creation and editing, scripting, dialogue, etc.
Unfortunately, it's tougher to show progress on things like mission design and storyline than it is to show screenshots and models, though there certainly has been a ton of progress! At the moment we're focusing on several short mini-campaigns, each of which tie in together, rather than one grand campaign.

Yeah we've had a posting up for a position like that for, oh, 3-4 years or so, but nobody's ever applied for the job. So as it stands, it's just us technical guys who do our best to keep multiple sources updated to our status. Unfortunately, we're good at making games, not so great with publicity hehe.
Being as Green Squadron has never been given any colour scheme visually, it could very well be this. In addition, Corsec's fighters are described as overall green with black and white trim, not overall white with black and green trim. Let's not forget also that instead of a corsec logo it has a green squadron logo. =)

Yes, we will have in game cockpits, but it'll take us a while. Most likely our first release won't have them but we'll add them as time goes on

We will have cockpits, but not right off the bat, and they certainly won't be the old ones, they'll be custom made new cockpits.
We are using the FreeSpace 2 SCP engine, not the normal FreeSpace 2 engine. What we're doing would most definitely not be possible without the efforts of the SCP team.

I'm not saturating the colours anymore. If you watch the film the markings are invisible, this is a happy medium between the oversaturated model photos and the actual movie scenes which have no colour at all.
This is the lighting bake version with displacement made off the normal map. The in game version will look a bit different, but not much.
Don't worry about that too much, with some of the rendering control we have with our LoDs and Detail boxes, polies won't be a killer
For now we'll only be adding canon ships. As there are so many ships in the SW universe it'll be tough to include everyone's requests. We've got our basic shipset down, but once we get that done we're open to opportunities. I don't believe that fan created ships will be among them at this time, however.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, the lighting will be baked in, so even in game it'll be visible
Well, that's obviously unusual considering the game came out before you were born.
