Modder for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series and Crysis series, some of which have won Crytek community awards (most popular) while one of my S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mods has been featured in German PC gaming magazines "PC Games" and "PC Action". Many thanks to SetaKat and david.m.e for teaching me all the tricks to modding S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I'm also an amateur programmer. The only honest hardware/game reviewer in the world, see GND-Tech.com (worthy mods may even get an article), Stalker.wikia admin, Cooler Master product beta tester, etc. I write coherent reviews for mods on ModDB. I mostly play Dragon Age series, Mass Effect series, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, Neverwinter Nights 2, KOTOR series, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, and Amnesia: The Dark Descent. But I'm always up for some Natural Selection 2, No More Room in Hell, Killing Floor, and Serious Sam HD. I only play PAYDAY 2 and ArmA 3 privately, join our community at GND-Tech.com if you'd like to play with us.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere... one of the most immersive, creepy games you'll ever find. The developers must be commended for creating such a unique, mesmerizing world.
Gameplay could use a few tweaks though; the very limited duration of the torch is odd, maybe a bit more searching for clues to emphasize a detective feel more, and I feel that some places could have been turned into some of the scariest places in video game history, had there been more of a threat to the player. Specifically, the basement in chapter 1, which is one of the most amazing locations in the game, could have been made to be one of the scariest places ever.
Still, the atmosphere is absolutely incredible. Get this game.

Interesting level design, above average voice acting for a mod, some creative and very well done moments lie within.

Miasmata is an ambitious and unique game about survival. It hardly gives anything to the player, making this minimalistic but lengthy journey very desperate but very rewarding. Everyone should try it.

This is a very well put together custom story. But I must say, the parts in which you're put into the Brazen Bull, hung upside down and gutted, and locked in the Iron Maiden are genius!

A necessary expansion with various engine improvements and a ton of mods available. Surprisingly, this game has better graphics than lots of mainstream crap today, at least on NVIDIA cards with SSAO and supersampling enabled. This is why HL2 E2 has so many modifications.

A necessary expansion. Don't spend too much time looking for mods though, as most of them are made for HL1, HL2, or HL2 E2.
